"There must be." I agreed. "Can you pull plates out? They're in that cabinet."

i nod and do as she asks. "What about your dad. any reasont hey may want to kill you to get to him"

Lesley:

"Nope," I said shortly then dished up the pasta with the zucchini and squash on top.

Lesley:

"Give it a rest. We can find out after dinner." I said and set the plates on the table.

i nod a bit and start eating "thank you"

Lesley:

"My pleasure. It's nice not to have dinner alone. I'm always having to call friends over to keep me company." I said.

"Unless you've figured out why you didn't kill me, who want's me dead, or the names of people who employ you, no." I said.

"Alright then." I said with a sigh as I finished my food and put the plate in the sink.

"There is this box in my closet full of things I've been meaning to burn, I can't reach it though." I said taking the stairs two at a time.

"When you barged into my house." I told him smirking.

i shake my head "i left and gave you 1 grand to fix the bullet hole"

"And now I've brought you back to help me around the house." I said flashing him a bright smile.

"Why not?" I said finally reaching my room door. I leaned my back against it and looked up at him. "Are you prepared?" I said as if we were going on a dangerous mission.
