** WARNING/NOTE: i wrote this after i started going to the site SixBillionSecrets. the poem doesn't rhyme and its basically just different stories. but the last stanza, i did write myself. i'm not a poet so this might be crap.
A boy is thrown out of his house,
He was caught kissing another boy.
They must move in together,
Sooner than they expected.
An overweight girl has bloody gashes on her wrists.
She wants to be like those beautiful girls on TV.
But she's stuck in this watermelon body,
Dying to find a way out.
A pretty blonde girl sits at her desk,
Looking for the love of her life.
Her best friend.
But her best friend is straight and they're both girls.
A muscular guy is surrounded by pretty girls,
He's known as a player, a man-whore.
But every night he lays in bed and listens to Taylor Swift,
Thinking about this nerdy girl he's fallen in love with.
Why must "social norms" make us feel like what we want,
Who we want to spend the rest of our life with,
Is beyond stupid?
Why do people think we fit into cliques? We're individuals.
Don't be afraid to show who you really are,
Because no one is going to do it for you.
