Cam
"You ok Pepper?" she asked, smirking. Cam had a feeling she knew exactly what Pepper was thinking when she glanced at the clock and saw the time.

Pepper- I picked up one of the pillows that I didn't have in a death grip and threw it at her, still blushing furiously. My head snapped up as somebody knocked on the door, and she knew it just had to be Less.

Cam
"Not nice." she said laughing. then heard the knock. she grinned. "Come on in! It's open!" in walked Less

Pepper- My eyes grew wider still and I mumbled and excuse on having to leave, hoping Cam and Less and Tris would let me go, and not force me to stay.

Cam
"Aww, but Pepper I thought we were guna talk and catch up." she said.

Less
"Hey Tristen.." he smiled. "Hi Cam, Pepper." he nodded at Cam and Pepper

Pepper- "Uh, hi," I said, wide eyed as I stared at Cam, really, really wishing she hadn't said that. I sat down again nervously, not sure what else to do.

Cam
she held back laughter. "We can go to my room to talk if you want." she said grinning

Pepper- I jumped up and bolted for Cam's room, glad she's given me an out.

Cam
she laughed as she follwed her up the stairs.

Less
"sooo...." he smiled looking at Tristen.

Pepper- I imidiatly set to cleaning up Cam's room again, like I usually did, my blush slowly dying off my cheeks.

Cam
her laugh died as she entered her room and saw Pepper cleaning. "Thanks." she said walking in.

Pepper- I nodded. "I always clean your room," I said in a matter-of-face voice, glad that I'd stopped blushing now.

Cam
she smiled. "I know, but i feel the need to say thanks. i mean, you dont HAVE to. yet you do."

Pepper- "Yeah, and you don't HAVE to put up with me. Yet you do," I shot back, smiling. I started softly singing 'Street Rat' from Aladin, a familiar song since it pertained to me so well.

Cam
she smiled, and lay down on her bed listening to Pepper.

Pepper- I smiled and looked at Cam with my hands on my hips, a firm look on my face. I started singing 'I'll Make a Man Out of You' from Mulan, pulling her off the bed and starting to make it.

Cam
she laughed.

Pepper- I smiled and finished up cleaning her room. "You wanna go hang out in the park? I hear that's free," I said, smiling a bit of a forced smile, knowing she knew that money was a touchy subject for me, considering I barely had enough to get by.

Cam
she smiled. "You wanna stop and get some fast food on our way? I'll pay." she said

Pepper- "Cam..." I warned, I hated her buying me stuff, even if it was just fast food.

Cam
"I know, but I'm hungry and i dont like eating in front of anyone unless they're eating too." she said

Pepper- I sighed, pinching the bridge of my nose, knowing what she was doing. "Fine," I finally sighed, shaking my head a little.

"Hey Less. What you wanna do?" I asked looking at him with a smile

Less
he shrugged. "IS there anything you wanted to do?" he asked, smiling.

Cam
"Good." she smiled. "Then lets go."

Pepper- I nodded, running downstairs quickly, hoping not to see Less. When I wasn't paying attention for one second, I ran into him, falling on my back, dazed and embarrassed.
