Perfect Assassins

Kyle:

I smiled. "Not with every thing." I reminded her. "Can't bake any thing to save my life. Remember those cookies I tried to make for you, Krissy, and Mel?"

Lexi giggled. "Yeah! Mel ended up making new ones that tasted great! But hey, you don't have to bake, you're a guy!" She shrugged. "If you hadn't become an assassin, you should've opened a restraunt."

Kyle:

I laughed. "I'm not that good. I don't know what I would have done if I hadn't became an assassin." I said musingly.

"Opened a restaurant," Lexi repeated quietly as she ate, grinning at him innocently.

Kyle:

I chuckled. "No I wouldn't have. Cooking isn't my passion." I told her and winked.

"Yes, but if you hadn't become an assassin, you never would've met me, therefore, no passion," Lexi shrugged, sipping more wine.

Kyle:

I grinned. "Oh I would have found you. It just would have taken a lot longer." I said.

"We wouldn't have met until...what? Like now?" Lexi guessed, shrugging.

Kyle:

"Who knows? You probably would have been taken by now though." I said meaning to let her know that I hadn't forgotten about the kiss.

"I wouldn't have met Will either. And...besides. I would've fallen in love with you the moment I laid eyes on you," Lexi replied, finishing her meal and climbing into Kyle's lap.

Kyle:

I wrapped my arms around her. "Yeah? And why is that?" I asked.

"Just looking at you...I know you're smart, funny, strong, and practically perfect...In most ways," Lexi smiled, leaning back against him, her neck resting in the crook between his neck and shoulder.

Kyle:

I stroked her hair. "In almost every way." I corrected her, smirking.

"Ah. Grammar was never my strong point. Never finished school," Lexi replied, kissing his neck gently.

Kyle:

I laughed and lifted her chin up to kiss her on the lips.

Lexi smiled, turning so she was sitting on his lap, facing him as she kissed him back.

Kyle:

My arms tightened around her waist as I kissed her.

Lexi's hands traveled up into his hair as she kissed him, placing the glass of wine on the table beforehand. "Should we...take this...to the bedroom?" Lexi got out inbetween kisses.

Kyle:

My eyebrows raised and I pulled back for a second before saying breathily, "Yeah."

Lexi grinned, jumping off his lap. "Beat you upstairs!" she yelled, running upstairs as fast as could.

Kyle:

I laughed and took off after her. "Cheater!" I called at the foot of the stairs while she was already at the top.

Lexi stuck her toungue out and raced into the bedroom, closing the door behind her.

Kyle:

I reached the bathroom door just before she locked and closed it. "That isn't fair." I told her leaning against the door.

((Bedroom))

"You gotta work for it," Lexi called, walking over to her backpack and pulling out a lacy nightgown. She quickly changed into it and laid down on the bed.

Kyle:

"You're evil. Fine. I will." I said and went down stars for a moment looking for some thing I could use. I came back and began to pick the lock.
