Beyond the Castle, part one. (Two person.)

Araline:

I sighed and leaned against the tree.  "But that's not what I am.  And even if I were I wouldn't be now.  I'm just like you." I muttered.

"I disagree. Your my princess, and i want to treat you as one." I said sitting down in front of her.

Araline:

"Fine but then that makes you my prince." I said leaning forward subconsciously.

I blinked and flushed slightly, leaning forward subconciously as well.

Araline:  

I grinned at the color on his cheeks.  He couldn't  control that nearly as well as I could.  I put my hand down as I leaned toward him and- "Hey, what's this?" I was sidetracked by some thing grainy under my hand.  I picked a fistful up and let the sand fall through my fingers.  My eyes lit up. 

I blinked in surprise and pulled back before looking at the sand in herchand.

Araline:

“Do you know what this means?” I asked, enthralled with sifting the sand in my palm.

I chuckled and got to my feet. "Were close." I said my voice showing my excitement.

Araline:

“The air even smells different. Do you think we should try to get there today? The light is fading..” I as I slowly got to my feet using the tree for support.

I nodded. "Yes that waycin the morning we can see it." I said flashing her a grin.

Araline:

I grinned back at him. “Alright, let’s go then.” I untied the horse. “You know you really do need a name.” I said softly kissing him on the muzzle. “What do you think we should call him?”

I thought for a moment but drew a blank. "I dont know to be honest."

Araline:

I made a tisk sound at Ario but looked over my shoulder to smile at him. “How about,” I thought, “Brego?” I asked. He nudged me with his nose. “Yeah?” I laughed softly. “Brego, it is. Lets go.”

I put away my bow and took her hand in mine. Soon i could hear moving water.

Araline:

I squeezed his hand in anticipation. “You know, we would get there faster if we rode.” I told him.

I grimaced. "Do we have too?" I asked unhappily.

Araline:

“I doubt we’ll make it by nightfall unless we do.” I squeezed his hand. “It’s not so bad, maybe you’ll get used to it.”

I let out a soft breath before climbing into onto the horse and making room in front of me.

Araline:

I pulled myself up in front of him and nudged Brego with my heels. “You okay?” I asked Ario.

I hugged her around the waist to keep myself steady. "Beyond the need to throw up....im good."

Araline:

I grimaced. “Well if you do don’t do it in me…” I muttered.

Ario

I rested my head on her shoulder and just focused on her scent.

Araline:

I patted the top of his head gently. I tried to keep from urging Brego to go faster for Ario’s sake, but it was difficult. Eventually the trees grew sparse and we could see the ocean stretching out all around. I swung off the horse and raced to the water kicking off my shoes as I did do. My wound went momentarily forgotten.

I hopped off the horse and called to araline. "Come back, we can play tomorrow!"

Araline:

I laughed and ignored him. I plunged into the water, hiking my skirt up so it didn’t get wet. “It’s freezing!” I called to him from knee deep water.
