Perfect Assassins

i turn the heat on and get it closing my door. "anywher eyou want to go?"

Lexi shook her head, shivering. "No... I'm not hungry..."

Krissy:

I shook my head then broke down again. "I'm so sorry Will. I'm a horrible person. I never should have let myself get to the point where I cut you.. Kyle is right. I deserved to be slapped." I sobbed.

Kyle:

"Is there any thing I can do for you? I feel so useless." I said glumly

Lexi leaned into Kyle and smiled hesitantly. "You can try to warm me up....I'm cold." she suggested.

Kyle:

I sighed and hugged her close rubbing her back and arms to warm her.

Lexi eventually stopped shivering and smiled softly, loving to be back in his arms.

Awww...How sweet, Rose snickered.

"Shut up," Lexi whispered to her.

Kyle:

I paused for a moment. "What?" I asked, confused.

"Krissy its ok. im not mad at you over that." i say softly. "Calm down, everything will be ok"

Krissy:

"No it won't, I'm horrible. He's right, I could have hurt her." I said wretchedly.

Lexi froze, realizing that she had spoken aloud. "Nothing." she lied.

Krissy dont talk like that. Everything will be ok"

Kyle:

I lifted her chin up. "Lexi.." I said uncertainly."

Krissy:

"No! I've screwed up! I didn't believe Mel! I didn't believe you! I kidnapped my best friend! And now my brother hates me!"

"Yes?" Lexi asked, looking up into his eyes innocently.

"your Brother could never hate you Krissy" i say stopping the car and looking at her.

Kyle:

"Were you talking to yourself?" I asked slowly, taking a guess.

Krissy:

I sighed miserably and looked back at him.

"You want to drive? I know you have some kind of crazed love for my car."

Lexi's eyes widened just slightly, enough to tell Kyle that she was lying. "Nope," she said.

Krissy:

I half smiled.  "Yeah, that'd be great." I said

Kyle:

"You are aren't you?" I asked. 

I get out and switch her places

Lexi sighed, pushing her hair out of her face. "Sort of."

Krissy:

I revved the engine then stepped on the gas.

Kyle:

I let her chin go and held her close. "That's okay, we'll figure some thing out." I said softly.

"She won't leave me alone..." Lexi whispered as she hugged Kyle.

i let her drive, closing my eyes

Kyle:

"What is she saying?" I asked rubbing her back.

Krissy:

"I'm sorry I didn't trust you about Jake." I said quietly.

"She's just being a bitch," Lexi sighed.

"You're a bitch."

"Oh, that's very funny," Lexi growled to Rose, not realizing that she had spoken both what Rose had said aloud and what Lexi herself had said back.
