"My dad is coming. The hospital called him to come take me. My stay at the foster home is temporary," I whispered.

"He is. Where my mother was born and raised. Now he's come to take me, the daughter he couldn't raise on his own," I whispered and pressed my face into his neck.

"No....no you arnt going to ireland"

"Try stopping him. He's as stubborn as you are," I whispered and hugged him tight. I didn't want to go, but because of legal reasons I couldn't pout and throw a temper tantrum, saying I wasn't going. I could get emancipated but it would take a lot of evidence.... evidence that was healing.

"I wont let him take you Nell" i whisper hugging her back

"He doesn't hit. I look too much like my mother. The worst he'll do is forget to feed me or pick me up from school. It'll be fine.... I guess..." I whispered.

i meant the fact your going to ireland."

"I know. I guessed that you were worried if he would abuse me or neglect me or something," I laughed sadly.

i frown "is there any way you can stay ehre"

"I don't know. Under every circumstance, the blood family of the child has every right to get him or her back unless there is child neglect or abuse of any kind." I sighed

i nod frowning

"It'll be okay... I think. We'll make it okay. Cheer up, please," I said and half-smiled.

i wont be able to see you"

"I know," i whispered and kissed his cheek, "it'll be okay. It'll all be okay."

i sigh and close my eyes

"Please smile? It sucks that we both look sad," I said softly.

i nod and try to smile

"Okay, stop. I can see your forcing it. Do you want your last memory of me to be depressed?" I asked and put a hand on his shoulder.

"Then try to be happy. Because I don't want to remember you like this," I said.

i nod and rest my forehead against hers
