"How long? She's eight. So it took you two years, probably a shorter time, to get over the death of my mother - your wife," I said, still looking at Ahana. She glared at me and wrinkled her nose.

"Nell be nice shes 8" i say to her queitly

"Will... take her out of the room for a while, okay? I have to talk to him," I sighed. Ahana looked at Will and back to my - our - dad. She walked up to Will.
"You can take me out of the room," she smiled.

I nod "come on" i take her down to a different room

Even though i said i would talk to him, i just stood there. I didn't know what to say to him. I just wanted him gone.


Ahana:
"Hiya," i smiled.

Ahana:
"Whats your name?" I asked.

:Will" i say sitting down

Ahana:
"You don't talk much. Why does Nell seem mad? Why did he have to come here? Why doesn't she live with us already? What happened to her mommy?" I blurted.

"I dont talk much to people i dont know. Nell has had a tough time the past couple of days. She had to tihnk. and i dont know" i asnwer her questions

Ahana:
"Daddy told me she died. He said that Nell was living on her mommy's time or something. I don't understand. He won't tell me much about banshees. Why wasn't she here when we came?" I asked him.

Ahana:
"Why?" I asked as Nell came in. Daddy showed me pictures of her when she was little. Now i see how much we look alike. And how she looks like her mommy.
"Honey, Dad said that we had to spend time with each other. If it'll keep him away from me for another day, I'm all for it," she smirked and picked me up. I squealed in fear.

Nell:
"What? What did I do?" I asked and set her down. I was terrible with kids. I was scared that I hurt her. Ahana went to Will and hid behind him.
Uhh, kids hate me. I thought to him and sighed.

I look behind me "whats up?"

I sighed and looked at Ahana.
"N-nothin," she said and hugged him tightly around the neck.

"why did you run from Nell?"

"She squeezed me too hard," she said and looked at me. I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms.

im sure if you go back you can stop squezzing my neck hard and i think she will be gentler"

This made her laugh so she let go. I sighed and picked her up again.
I told you kids hate me. They always like you.
