I blinked. No one had ever called me out like that. Never. I wasn’t sure how I could spin this.. Be honest? That was a new idea. “This dress is one of my favorites. I’m not wearing it because it is fancy, but because not only do I like seeing it on me but other people do too. My hair was difficult to put up, yes, but It would be too much of a nuisance to wear down. It would be the same whether you were here or not. The shoes.. Those were for effect, but I do not like to be much shorter than the people I am around, so they have a practical element as well.” I shot back all of his observations. “I do not have to try to be beautiful.” I said it a little too icy and continued with a lighter tone. “You assume I am not being myself, but you are wrong. This is how I always am.” That wasn’t completely untrue. “You don’t know me. You cannot say whether I would be boring after a while. I find it insulting that you believe I am just another pretty face.”

Savon:

"Atleast you have a temper. That is refreshing. But you didn't count me wrong. What do you want?" I repeated my question putting emphasis on the words.

Navi:

I stared at him. He was so brazen. “I want to know who you are, hence the inviting you to dinner. Last I knew that was how you got to know someone.” I shot back at him. I shouldn’t have been acting this way, but he was braking all the rules.. I had no choice but to follow or get left behind.

Savon:

"My name is Savon. I grew up in mid town, and I came into money from a grandparents death. I decided to get out of the lower class and try the upper class. I moved into his estate and took on the staff there of." I said ticking things off on my fingers.

Navi:

So he did have money.  Well that wasn't hard to guess..  "I didn't ask for an over view of your life."  I said cooly. "I believe dinner is ready."  I turned away from him to bring out the dishes and set them on the table.  

Savon:

"That defines who I am does it not? Oh I should also say I am a survivor of the game. But that is common. People create alliances and leave people alone to support someone elses dispute and such." I replied absently with a yawn.

Navi:

I didn't know what to say -or do- it was so strange for me.  I was beginning to think I was in over my head with this guy.  "Your life sounds so interesting." I commented without emotion.  He guessed what I wanted, but now I was curious as to why he was here.  Clearly from his earlier statement he had beautiful girls around him all the time.  

Savon:

I watched her absently. "If you say so." I remarked. "Your different I'll give you that. Boringly the same as everyone but different. You actually care about others, which is interesting. So why them over everything else in the world."

ok, so whats the setting right now? is it ok to be a soldier for one of the families?))

((Haha its fine. And sure. You could take over Barrons space if you want and be Savon's chief of staff. And setting is kind of a mob style city. Slightly Renaissance in its thinking by the family idealism. But its a modern city, Only thing really changed is the way of thinking, and how things are run.))

Personality: he is VERY protective. almost to the point of being a creep. other then that he cares about anyone around him. if you are close or dear to him, you wont get hurt, let alone killed. he follows orders to the tee, and will never second guess anything. including what he thinks or does. if you have a problem with that, good luck trying to change his mind.

History: As a boy, he lived on the streets, scrounging for food and water. his parents were killed right in front of him by a rouge mob thug. ever since then, he swore that whom ever did this, would pay with there life. he finally got that chance when a family offered him a job as a soldier. after seven months of hunting, he finally got the chance, and he took it. 15 years of anger, hunting, and pain lashed out in a single moment, and it felt good. ever since then, he has served as a personal guard to the head family, guarding important members. he now has been assigned to a child.

Bio: Stella was chosen at a very young age to be the candidate for her family. Since then, she has been trained for the purpose of ruling the city as her family see's fit. When around her family members she is as they have taught her to be, hard as steel and impassive as stone. She grew up in a family where any display of emotion was seen as a weakness and dealt with harshly. In a long line of rulers, her family expects her to participate in the next trial and win...or die. She escaped the last trial at an almost deadly cost, her father beating her savagely after catching her with a romance novel when she was supposed to be studying. It left her scarred irreparably and barely alive. But even growing up as she has, Stella yearns for a different life, one of simplicity and the one thing that has been held just out of reach, love.

Looks: Her eyes are deep green with golden flecks, her red hair flows to the center of her back, usually kept back in a no nonsense braid at the preference of her mother. She is very tall, standing eye to eye with her father. extending from her right ear and down her cheek to just below her jaw a jagged scar from a beating gone too far marrs her features. In an act of rebellion, a band of red celtic knots decorates her upper arm, surrounding a sun of orange red and yellow. She is covered in knicks and cuts and uncountable scars from sparring with her family members, who believe in no mercy.

Personality: Somehow Stella is a very kind, sweet woman, avoiding the seemingly genetic cruelty her family members share. This side of her has been carefully, painstakingly hidden, her fear of retribution too great. but on her travels out of the house, when not escorted by a family member, she feels finally free, smiling and laughing and playing with the children in the street. It is only her loyalty to her family that keeps her from leaving and never returning. While her family would have her fighting, or learning the skills required to run a city, Stella would much prefer to sit and read a story, to transport herself somewhere else, outside of her situation.

History: Stella comes from a long line of candidates in her family, the sons often fighting and usually winning in the massacre that is the trial, but due to many failed pregnancies on her parents behalf, she was their only child, and so she was chosen by default to become the candidate for her family. Her mothers worry over another pregnancy being successful and producing a male is the only reason her father allowed her to live.
