Introducing Introductions

Hello!

I came here because someone in my audio class recommended it when we were discussing forum roleplaying. I am a junior in college pursuing creative writing and literature minors and I've been roleplaying for eight years. However, I am feeling a little lost with so many roleplays going on, most of which are at huge lengths!

If anyone would like to guide me around or start a new one with me, I'd be very happy to participate. ^^

I'm good with anything, really, as long as it has some standards of adequate writing and hasn't been going for all that long (I mean, that it's open to new characters without me having to read a novel to catch up). I prefer fantasy over sci-fi and modern fantasy over traditional, but it all depends.

(also, I am not into roleplaying porn. xD Just saying.)

There are definitly people on here that can do good roleplays with the style of writing you told me. Some others are hit and miss (like me, depending on the RP). As for Rp's you can join that have already been made, its also hit and miss. A lot of Rp's on here are two or three person rps. But typically if you ask to join a multi-person RP they can give you a quick fill in of whats happening.

Hm....I suppose that I could always make my own, but I don't know anyone on here. What is the general landscape for people just kind of joining ones versus roleplays that are solicited for specific people? I really would prefer to join one that is just starting or one that I've made over hearing a summary of what's happened.
