Why Me? (reserved)

"Well our buildings are kinda similar just more nature based. We have metal weapons and sheilds."

I nodded a little, thinking about that.

"But I must say. The lack of communication here is astounding."

"I wish it were better."

"Its a lot better back in our world." I said looking at her.

I nodded a little, leaning back against the pillows. "I'd like to know more about you..."

"Me? Why?" I asked leaning back.

"Because you keep talking about the country but i know nothing about you." I said softly.

"I'm nobody important. Really I'm just boring."

"Please?" I asked softly.

I sighed. "I was born to farmers. I worked as a farmer for ten years. Then I was old enough to sign up for the army. I did. Then about three years ago I quit. I went and studied all sorts of crafts and finally got hired to bring you back."

I nodded a little, looking at him. "If you dont mind me asking, why did you quit?"

"I wasn't moving up in ranks anymore. I seemed to loose respect." I said looking at her

"You have mine now..." I said softly, my had on top of his. "You seem so persistent on bringing me back, that you have almost fully convinced me.

"Well I need to bring you back." I said with a shrug. I glanced down at her hand

"You are, for a few days at least." I said softly with a smile. "It feels strange for me to be telling you not to worry for once."

I smirked. "Please. If you wernt coming back by choice I would have made you take a tour."

"Really now?" I laughed.

I nodded. "Yep. Would have happened."

"Oh dear." I shook my head.

I smirked. "It would have been fine. I think."

I smiled, grabbing the remote to the tv. "Most likely.

I smiled watching her. She was fascinating.

I started flipping though the channels, hugging a pillow gently.

I looked at the TV. Then back at her. "And this is entertaining?"
