Why Me? (reserved)

I continued to eat till my plate was empty.

I finished up and stood taking her plate going to wash it.

"You don't have to clean up" I smiled, helping him

"I don't want to be a burdon"

"You are far from one."

"Still. At least let me wash." I said turning on the water.

I nodded, getting the towel ready for drying them.

I finished one plate and handed it to her.

I dried it off, putting the plate away.

I finished washing the dishes handing one after the other to her.

I dried them and put them away, beginning to hum again.

I smiled once again listening to her.

I began to sing softly after a while, just a lullaby mom used to sing to me.

I smiled. I recognized the lullaby. It was our kingdoms lullaby.

We soon finished doing the dishes, and I still hadn't realized I was singing.

I smiled and hummed along with her.

I looked at him, my voice a little softer when I heard him join in.

I smiled at her a bit as I hummed.

I smiled a little, putting the dishes away.

I smiled at her watching her.

"Can you help me?" I asked, trying to get a cup to the top shelf again.

I smiled and took it gently from her putting it on the top shelf

"Thank you" I smiled.

I smiled. "Any time."

"Are you ready to leave?"
