I smiled. Her father nodded. "How is the border holding up. I frowned. " they were attacked a few days ago but I got the princess out before it got worse. I am not sure how far they got."

"many people were unarmed..." I frowned, looking down. "I wanted to help, so many people were there..."

I rubbed her hand. "Their strong men. They will be able to handle it." He said watching her

I nodded, looking back at him. "What about the villages near there?"

He frowned. "I'll send a party of solders to bring them in

"Thank you..."

He nodded then wrote the orders down on a price of parchment and gave it to a soilder.

I kept my head bowed.

I held her hand. The king lifted his head. "Is there anything you want to do today?"

"I do not know, father."

"We have a nice apple orchard we could go there."

I smiled a little. "If we pick some, may I use the kitchen later to make some pie?" I asked.

I nodded, getting up from my seat. I pushed the chair in close to the table, waiting for my father and blake.

I smiled, looking around. There were many different types of apples, perfect for pie.

I started to pick some, humming softly to myself.

I smiled holding a basket for her. The king moved about picking a few apples here and there.
