Emily
I started chewing on my lip, staring straight ahead now, making myself as small as possible in my seat. The speaker seemed to be finishing up, now, thankfully.

Chloe

I smiled and turned again to look around, my eyes automatically falling on Peter. He was talking with some girl I'd never met, so I continued my scan of the room.

Peter:

I looked at the new girl and nodded with a little shrug. “Usually.” I muttered. The speaker directed us to the tables in the back arranged by year to get our schedules. I left my brother and Tanya to find the 11th year table and look up my name to get my schedule. I mostly ignored the chatty people around me.

Tanya:

“Seeya’round!” I half waved to Lilly on Ian’s other side then Followed Peter out to get my class schedule.

Chloe
I ran over and caught up with Peter. All of my friends were in their 12th year, and I was in my 11th. "Hey, how was your summer?" I asked, tucking my hair behind my ear to keep it out of my face.

Emily
I slowly walked towards the 9th grade line, biting my lip hard. I looked at the people around me nervously, noticing how almost everyone was already standing in line with friends.

Lilly
I looked at ian 'what grade are you in?' Standing and adjusting my bag on my shoulder.

Peter:

“Hey Chloe.” I said a little surprised that she came up to talk to me. We had spoken before, but we weren’t exactly close friends. “It was good. I didn’t do anything spectacular. It was fairly low-key, or as low-key as it can be with a brother Like Ian.” I smiled a little. Ian was not known for being reserved.

Ian:

“12th. This is my last year here, finally.” I grinned as I stood up. “What about you?” I asked.

Lilly
'Same. I can't wait for school to be finally over.' I scrunch up my nose. 'My mom'll have to learn to accept that there is no cure for what i am.' I shrug

Chloe
I smiled a bit. "I can just imagine..." Ian and I were close friends a few years ago, but once I started hanging out with my new friends, we slowly grew apart, and I kind of missed hanging out with him and, by default, occasionally with Peter. "So, are you planning on going to Tabbi's party tonight? It's supposed to be even more wild than the End-of-the-Year party she threw last year."

Emily
I bit my lip, slowly moving towards the desk when it was my turn to get my information. "Uhm...Hi..." I said when the woman across from me said 'hello'. I told her my name and watched as she ruffled through her papers in front of her.

I give my name to the lady behind the desk and get handed a paper with my classes. Just as i turn someone squels next to me startling me and my class list goes up in smoke. Literally. I sigh and hunch forward. 'Perfect '
