"you can do whatever you please. But it does make things much easier for me if you stay"

I nodded a little. "Then i'll stay,."

He smiled. "I'm glad. The advisors keep telling me that at my age with everything that happened. I need to step down from my role as King."

"So... You want me to be queen?" My voice was soft, looking up at him.

"I know it's a lot to ask. And your getting married in a week. But I believe you are a strong woman. And Blake will support you."

I nodded, a little pale.

"we don't have to do this right away. We can think about it after your wedding. If that would make things easier"

I thought for a moment. "probably after."

"then think no more about it. We can discuss it when things have died down" he said smiling

I nodded a little.

He smiled. "thank you my dear. Go enjoy the rest of your night"

I hugged him gently before i left.

He smiled and hugged her back. I sat on a bench near where we had parted so she could find me

I walked back over to him, still alittlepale.

I frowned seeing her. "are you okay?" I asked standing

"Y-yeah." I said softly, hugging him.

I hugged her. "what happened? Is your father alright?"

"Hes going to step down."

I looked at her for a moment then smiled. "and he wants you to be queen?"

I nodded, a little scared.

"hun that's amazing." I said smiling. "and the people already love you"

"But I don't know anything about ruling!" I looked up at him, scared.

"hunny. It's okay." I said gently hugging her. "your father can help you. And I can do what I can"

I hugged him back tightly, letting out a sigh.

I smiled and kissed her head.
