University Roommates (Restart)

Emily:
I knew my hair had to be a mess but instead of wasting time playing with it, I threw a baseball cap on and grabbed the keys. "I feel like we're supposed to have a list. Tasha always has a list," I said, pausing. Then I shrugged. "I'm sure it will be fine," I said, opening the door.

Ashton:

When we got to the store, I went around getting mostly snacks and prepared meals rather than ingredients. Emily and I weren’t much in the way of cooks. For a while we had lived of mostly pancake mix because we had run out of other ingredients.

Emily:
There was a cook book near the front of the store and I threw it in the cart. Ash was getting already prepared food and while it looked good, I missed Tasha's cooking. I knew I sucked at it, and I burned everything I touched, but maybe if I had a cook book to help me, I could make something.

Ashton:


I saw the cook book she put in the cart and picked it up to flip through it. “You do know you can find recipes online,” I told her and I turned to the desserts page. I paged past the impossible things and found one that was a chocolate mousse. I showed her the picture. “We should make this.”

Emily:
I smiled at the picture and then at him. "You'd help me?" I asked, moving closer to hold the book up so I could look at the ingredients we would need. I figured if I stayed by the stove and payed really close attention, it might come out okay.

Ashton:

“Of course. I don’t know how much help I would be, but I would assist you in any way needed.” I smiled down at her. For a moment I wondered what mousse would be good with and my brain suddenly input that I could lick it off her. I looked down at the book quickly. “So what all do you need?”

Emily:
I smiled at him one more time and when he looked down at the book, I reached up to grab his face so I could kiss him. A quick one, since we were in public, but he was being sweet. Then I let him go and looked down at the book again. "Well we need cream and eggs...and we should head down the baking isle for some stuff," I told him, folding down that page of the book. We were gonna buy it anyway, so it didnt matter.

Ashton:

Her kiss surprised me and, as it was quick, I didn’t have time to kiss back. It left me wanting more. And the best way to get more was to hurry this shopping trip along. “I’ll grab the cream and eggs then meet you on the baking aisle?” I suggested. I may not know what exact baking ingredients to get, but cream and eggs were simple.

Emily:
"Okay, sounds good," I told him, grabbing the cart. "Maybe get a little more than you think we might need incase we screw up the first round," I smirked. I started wheeling the cart towards isle 2, for baking stuff. "Find me when youre done!"

Ashton:

I grabbed eggs and heavy whipping cream, then I grabbed cool whip ass well just in case. After I had my items I went in search of the baking aisle. It took me a little while to find it in the maze of a store, but I finally got to it by spotting Emily rather than reading the signs.

Emily:
I had the cook book open in the child seat of the shopping cart and I kept glancing at it and reading labels, throwing various things in with the items I wanted to buy. When I felt like we had a good mix of already prepared foods and easy-to-make recipes, I looked up and spotted Ash. I smiled and pushed the cart over to him. "Okay, I think we're good. Is there anything else you need? Should we hit the candy aisle to get stuff for movies?" I asked, inching my way in that direction before he answered.

Ashton:

I grinned and slid my hand around her waist as we were already walking toward the candy aisle. "Of course. That's basically why we came here. Who needs food when we can get candy" I joked. I was glad our trip was coming to an end. I was ready to get us home where we could make out without the burden of public eyes.

Emily:
I found the candy with ease, as they strategically placed it right in the center of the store. I grabbed a few things I liked and threw them into the cart and then gave Ash a moment to pick out his favorites. When that was done, I started pushing the cart towards the check out line. It wasn't very busy and I was able to start loading up the belt right away. I smiled at the cashier and swiped my card when she asked me to. "Hey, how many bags do you can carry?" I asked Ash. "Maybe we don't have to take the cart with us to the car," I said.

Ashton:

“All of them,” I said without hesitation. There were many bags and it was a silly to carry them with two hands alone, but I was determined. I started immediately going about collecting the handles. I pulled the two clusters of bags out of the cart, my fingers turning pink at the tips from the circulation getting cut off.

“Come on, lets go,” I said, holding the bags on either side of me.

Emily:
I giggled and followed him out the door and into the parking lot. I opened the back seat of the car for him to put the bags down. "You know, I could have taken one or two," I smirked.

Ashton:

“Nah,” I said as I loaded the bags into the back of the car. “I like being strong for you.” I wound my arms around her from behind and squeezed lightly. Ducking my head, I leaned in to kiss the crook of her neck, my lips lingering to suck at her skin.

Emily:
I giggled when an older women sneered at us on her way into the store. It didn't bother me. I liked that he didn't feel uncomfortable about touching me in public. "If you leave another hickey, I might have to retaliate," I warned, turning around in his arms with a smile.

Ashton:

I loosened my grip, but still kept my arms around her waist. “Oh yeah?” I asked with a small grin. “How would you retaliate, hmm?” I inched my hands lower down her back.

Emily:
I smirked and leaned in to peck his lips. "I'm sure you'd like to know," I joked and pulled away with a wink. "Do you wanna drive home?" I asked, holding up the keys.

Ashton:

“Alright,” I said. I brushed my fingers over the spot on her neck where my mouth had just been. It was lightly pink, but it would fade in another minute. But her words were tempting. I took the keys from her and went around to the other side of the car. I could wait to bush that boundary until we got home.

Emily:
I got into the car and buckled my seatbelt. I was sure I did not have a hickey, as his mouth hadn't been on my neck for very long. The ride was quiet and when we pulled in at home, i got out quickly to make sure i could actually grab some bags this time.

Ashton:

I got out of the car as soon as I noticed her moving quickly. I managed to grab the majority of the bags, but she did get away with a couple. “You’re hindering my masculinity, you know,” I jocked as walked up the sidewalk behind her.

Anna-
I smirked and set my bags on the counter to start putting things away. "You know, something tells me your masculinity is gonna be just fine," I said. I took out everything that needed to be refrigerated, and put it away first so it wouldnt spoil.

Ashton:

I started putting the dry things away in the pantry. “I don’t know… I think you might need to make it better with kissed,” I told her as I put the pancake mix away on the top shelf. I crumpled the plastic bags and threw them away then stood waitng by the counter for my dues.

Anna-
I smiled and put the last of the things away before moving closer to him. I snaked my arms around him and walked forward until he was against the counter. I tilted my head up. "Thank you for carrying all the bags in," I said, placing a kiss on his jaw. "You're very stong," I continued, moving my lips lower, to his neck. "I'm such a lucky girl," I whispered. My mouth found his collar bone and sucked on the skin there for a moment.
