Perfect School

Jonah:

In that moment she turned all the power she had over to me. Given the time and the opportunity, I knew now that I could unlock her. From here out it was a matter of doing so without incurring Marie's wrath. So this mission wasn't the time to do it. Marie would be watching us. I had to walk a fine line between acting and showing Marie that it was only an act. If anything what Kira said could make that harder.

My lips curved into my bright smile. "Then let us be off," I said, stepping aside and opening the limo door for her. She would be mine. And if I could have her, then nothing else could stand in the way of taking Marie's place.

I slipped inside the limo, adjusting the skirt of my dress as I sat down. I felt almost a little shaky from my agreement. It was a new thing to agree towards, a new thing to have happen to me. I took a few calming breaths while he climbed in. This would be different but over all I felt I might just enjoy this mission.

Jonah:

The feeling of triumph thumped around in my chest during the ride, but I didn’t say much to Kira. She would be mine. Everything would be.

When we got to the casino hotel, I helped her out of the limo then hooked my harm around her waist as we walked in. An attendant got our bags for us. My eyes scanned the chaotic scenery then landed on Kira with lights, both real and from within, dancing in them.

I leaned on the check in counter while the clerk checked us in. My arm was no longer around her, but my hand played with the fingers of her left hand. “What sound’s good for dinner, my love?” I asked, as if she was the only thing holding my attention.

I leaned towards the window as we drove through the city, gazing at the lights and sights. It was beautiful. The excited air that took up wasn't all faked as we slid from the Limo. But I did have a brief moment of discomfort as Jonah pout an arm around my waist. I did all the right things, I leaned into him, put an arm around him as well and gazed about while mostly looking up at him. But I knew he was aware of that moment.

What surprised me most of all was the fact that after I grew used to his arm around me and then further still of his hand in mine, I liked it. My stomach lurched sickeningly at it. I shouldn't enjoy it. It wasn't for me. But I did. And as Jonah gazed at me with an expression like I was his entire world I didn't know what to say. My lips parted and I gazed into his eyes but it took me a moment to smile shyly and respond with, "Casanova or Bouchon." I named off two things that came to mind first, going off ads I had seen around the casino on our way in. Casanova was Italian, Bouchon was French.

Jonah:

“Casanova is more of my style,” I said, flashing a grin and a wink. Even with my eyes solely on her, I was aware of our surroundings, and the clerk sliding the key across the counter, but I let him clear his throat to draw attention to it anyway. “Enjoy your stay Mr. Cartwright.”

After picking up the key I laced my fingers with hers and tugged her closer. “Let’s get freshened up in our room before we go out,” I said as if whispering to her, but loud enough for others to hear, then I gave her a secret smile hinting to something else.

"Casanova it is darling." I returned the smile, though it ended in a soft embarressed laugh as the clerk had to clear his throat to get our attention. I knew we were both aware, but we had parts to play.

Blushing on que had always been something I'd failed at for my courses of acting and deception. The usual triggers of embarrassment or anger never really were things I had to draw upon. But I had both to draw upon now. And I did so, bringing a pink stain across my cheeks while I bit my lip. "Okay...we'd better hurry. I'm starving..." I stressed the final word to accent the same meaning he was hinting at for everyone else's benefit.

Jonah:

I was impressed by the blush. She was a talented actor, but there was something in her eyes that told me, and only me, how she really felt. I tugged her along to the elevator, which we managed to get all to ourselves.

I noticed the cameras almost without looking up. For their benefit, I leaned in close to her and kissed her temple, I might of done more if I wasn’t concerned about pushing her boundaries. “Perhaps we should just order in…” I said huskily.

I looked up at him, glanced briefly to the camera then again to his face as I read the concern for my boundaries right under the surface. Mustering myself for a moment I turned to lean against him. "If you are going to kiss me, you should do it right." I whispered back at him while my fingers found the sides of his face. If I hadn't been wearing heels I would have been forced to pull him down further or go up higher, but as it was there was less distance to move his face before my lips met his in a kiss.

Jonah:

I would never have guessed that she would be the one to kiss me first, and I wondered briefly what it would have been like if we hadn’t been ordered by Marie to act this way. But I wasn’t going to leave her hanging.

I moved my hands around her waist and kissed her back. It was showy, meant to look perfect, but under that I could tell that that there was a degree of shyness and in experience. That was interesting. She had never done this before. For that I took the lead. When the bell of the elevator dinged, I held it for another moment then broke apart from her with a smug, shameless smile when an older couple shuffled in.

When he started kissing me back my stomach gave an involuntary shudder of pleasure at the feel of it. When the couple came in, and he broke the kiss I looked at them with a shocked expression, stuttered out an apology then hid my face against him much as if I'd been truly embarrassed. But it wasn't entirely a lie. I pulled away only after we reached our floor and I slid my fingers into his as we made our way down the hallway.

Jonah:

I let her tug me along, the taste of her still on my lips. it was oddly exhilarating to kiss her. I enjoyed intimacy as much as the next person, but it was something different with Kira. For one, it was something that had been in my mind for years now. For another, there was a satisfaction in showing her something new, something she perhaps enjoyed.

Once we were alone in the room, I dropped her hand and took a moment to scrutinize her face. "You've never done that before," I stated, quite sure of my words. Because this was a job, and because our intimate relationship had to be faked, I couldn't be warm with her now. This wasn't how I would have liked things to go, but Marie had to pleased.

"No, I've never done something like that before. And before you ask not even when Marie handed me off to those people." I looked away from him for a moment while my face cleared into its regular expression. I glanced at him and my tone didn't match the next words out of my lips. I had a slight catch, some other emotion and confusion buried under the lines, "We have to do whatever it takes to fulfill our cover."

Jonah:

I stepped a little closer to her. "You can tell me, you know, if you get uncomfortable," I said quietly. Even now when I was supposed to be walking the tightrope, I couldn't resist playing with her. I had to know the extent to her feeling, the difference between acting and enjoyment. I was on the cusp of having her completely figured out.

It was a bit odd not having to raise my chin as much when he was close to me just to look into his eyes. As it was I say that slight playful look in his eyes, a kid working on a puzzle. Could he figure out all the pieces of the puzzle? Could he understand me? I didn't even know myself. "If I do, I'll let you know. For now I want to rest before we go off to dinner. I also want to see what clothes and gear have been brought and left for us."

Jonah:

I gave a small smile then went over to the bags that had been left for us. I dragged them over to the couch and took a seat. I unzipped the one marked with my alias and riffled through the nice clothing to get to the weaponry underneath. I pulled out a hand gun and inspected it.

I didn't join him, choosing instead to grab up what had my name on it and took them all into one of the bedrooms. Kicking the door half closed behind me I set them down on the bed and began to rummage through them. I had outfits galore, and I took that to be a quirk of my character and made the mental note to change before we went down for dinner. Something upscale but not the dress I was wearing.

I drew out the weapons, lining them up across my bed to look over. Two handguns, one UMP-45 with folding stock, six knives in varying sizes, sheaths for all of those knives as well as two braces of throwing knives. In our hands an arsonol, but a pittance compared to what I'd want to have access too. Checking the other bags I found toiletries for the bathroom, and another held makeup and jewelry, while yet another was stock full of shoes. Shaking my head I organized my room a bit while also stashing a few of the weapons in the room. With all that done I left the room and joined Jonah, reciting to him a list of what weapons I'd been given.

Jonah:

"Well clearly you're the favorite," I said then told her what I had which was half as much as she did. It was likely that we could consolidate and use both, but still. There was no doubt that Kira was Marie's prize. It was unlikely that she cared for me at all beyond my abilities.

"I also have far more bags than you do and thus more storage." I replied with a shrug. "If you want something it's yours. Better to share the gear than horde it." Settling on the couch I crossed my legs and tilted my head back to gaze up at the ceiling. "Before we head out again I'll need to change."

Jonah:

My eyes lingered on her legs, elongated by the heels she wore, then focused on her upturned face. "I'm good to go whenever you are ready. I'm rather hungry actually," I said, breaking apart the handgun and grabbing a cleaning cloth from the bag. It was a habit I picked up from Kira to clean a gun, even if it was spotless, simply to occupy restless hands.

I gave him a sidelong glance. "If you want to go now we can." My voice was carefully neutral as I eyed him. "Though this would be a pitiful performance from what little I know." He had been the one to make it seem like we were coming up here for sex. It hadn't been that long since we had come into the room. "I will go change then." Standing I made my way into my room and closed the door behind me so I could change.

Jonah:

I checked the fancy watch on my wrist as she left.  We had up been here for thirteen minutes and it would be a few more for her to change.  That was enough time for a quickie.  And a quickie it would be if we were a couple who had just been on a long travel.  I calculated it while she was gone.  It played out in my head as if it were real and I timed each action and planned the details.  

She came out wearing a royal blue dress that hugged her body and showed off her assets rather nicely.  She paired it with a black pearl and diamond necklace with matching earrings.  I stood and sauntered over to her.  

“Very nice,” I said.  “Just needs a couple extra details.”  In an easy movement, I stepped up to her, put one hand behind her head to mussy up her hair, and bent my head to put my mouth over the smooth skin at the base of her neck.  I had done this once before, but this time it’s the only purpose was to leave a mark.  And, well, I knew she enjoyed it.

I hated heels, they were tiresome to walk in, painful after a while, and they drew attention. The only upside was how they made one look, and the nice sharp pointy weapon it offered. And yet I was stuck wearing yet another pair. As I came out of the bedroom having just done up my full make up and changed into a different dress I paused while Jonah stood up and came over to me.

My lips parted as I meant to ask just what else I needed to do when he mussed my hair up. I started to protest but that protest turned into a hitching gasp as he sucked at my neck. I couldn't help tilting my head for him and the brief unsteady beat of my heart.

Jonah:

I put a bit of teeth into it before I pulled back to inspect the mark. It was nice and red. I pressed my thumb over it for a moment. “I could leave one on your thigh too but that might be overkill,” I said it matter-of-factly but there was a playful light in my eyes that gave my enjoyment away.

That gasp turned right around into a hiss as he used teeth as well and once he finished I had a slight barb in my tone but my expression didn't quite match my voice, "If you want to go down there you might not ever get back up before a knife went into you."

Jonah:

I laughed at that. “Understood,” I said. Going over to the back by they couch, I changed out my jacket for a dinner one then joined her by the door. I opened it for her, putting my hand on her lower back to guide her out. Everything was back, the adoring smile, the bright eyes, and the hands that seemed barely restrained from grasping more intimate bits.
