Kyle:

I shifted my gaze to Ebony's face then away again cursing my sister for suggesting the kiss first.

Ebony:

I closed my eyes as I let my thoughts wander. I could feel the tension in the room, but I didn't comment or react to it. I was looking forward to Kyle taking me out to dinner sometime.

Kyle:

I looked back at her, watching her. I put my hand lightly on her shoulder and and settled back leaning my head on the couch.

Ebony:

When Kyle put his hand on my shoulder I moved closer so my head was resting on his leg. I smiled slightly as I kept my eyes closed.

Kyle:

I smiled at her until light flashed across my eyes then danced on Ebony's face. I glanced up to see Krissy flatten her palms over a mirror fragment as she looked away quickly smiling.

Ebony:

I opened my eyes and tried to find the source of where the light had come from. I couldn't see anyplace. I blinked confused before closing my eyes again.

Krissy:

After a while of painful silence and stillness I swung my legs off the window seat and stood up. “I am making lunch,” I announced to the room of quiet people. “Michael would you like to help me?” I asked so Kyle and Ebony would be alone.

Michael:

I raised an eyebrow at Krissy but nodded. "Alright." I said getting up and following her into the kitchen.

Ebony:

I opened my eyes again and watched them leave before sitting up. "They seem happy together." I said my eyes moving to the ground.

Krissy:

Once in the kitchen I grabbed an apple and hopped up on the counter leaning again the fridge while I snacked on my apple. I didn't really have any intention of making lunch right away and I didn't need help, in the end I'd probably just put a few sandwiches together.

Kyle:

I watched Ebony for a moment before looking at the ground as well. “Yeah, sure.” I said absently.

Ebony:

"Hey you ok?" I asked him moving into the opposite corner of the couch. My legs tucked up underneath me as I watched him.

Kyle:

“Yeah, I'm fine.” I said and half smiled looking back to her, she was further away now I noted ruefully.

Ebony:

I tilted my head slightly "Did I do something wrong then? Because you are acting odd..."

Kyle:

“You didn't do any thing wrong at all,” I told her smiling reassuringly and reached for her hand holding it in mine. “And I am most definitely not acting odd.” I winked.

Ebony:

I looked at our hands and blushed before looking back up at him. "Uh huh...I'll take your word on that one." I said a small smile playing at the corner of my lips.

Kyle:

I smiled genuinely seeing the blush on her cheeks. Leaning over I gently cupped the side of her face tilting it up slightly and brought my lips less than two inches from her leaving m eyes oped to gauge her reaction.

Ebony:

My blush deepened but my eyes showed a lot of different emotions. Longing for him to kiss me, warryness mixed with reluctance for it as well. I reached up with my free hand and pressed a finger to his lips pulling my head back a bit. I got up off the couch and pulling him along I pulled him into the library before turning to look at him. "I....I'm sorry....but....." I looked down at the ground. "I only want to be kissed if you want to do it, because you like me...not because this is supposed to draw out Whisper...I heard the plan..."

Kyle:

“Damn... I am sorry, Ebony.” I said sighing heavily and lightly squeezing her hand. I looked around the room not knowing what else to say other than 'I'm sorry'. Krissy hadn't managed to get in here to open the drapes yet. I looked back at Ebony and studied her for a moment, then, without thinking I took a step forward and put my hand on the side of her face like I had before and kissed her.

Ebony:

He caught me by surprise, and my eyes went wide and my cheeks felt like they were on fire. A jolt was running through me as my eyes fluttered closed and my arms slipped around his neck. He didn't know it, but now he had more or less captured my heart for good.

Kyle:

I wrapped my other arm around her lower back pulling her against me as I kissed her.

Ebony:

I pressed against him. Moving onto my tippitoes to make it easier for him. The jolt was still running through me and I didn't want it to stop. I knew I would have to breathe eventually but for now I didn't care.

Kyle:

I moved my hand into her hair holding her to me and lightly tightened my arm against her back.

Ebony:

I made a small breathless sound but didn't move away from him as we kissed. I couldn't think of a happier moment in my life right now.

Kyle:

I finally broke it and pulled back watching her. I brushed her hair out of her face, I hadn't thought I'd kiss her just for the sake of kissing her, I hadn't thought I would think of her in that way.

Ebony:

I opened my eyes slowly and leaned my face against his hand rubbing against it gently. I still had a blush staining my cheeks but my heart was racing as I looked up into his eyes.

Krissy:

After a while I had ended up making a few sandwiches and taking them into the living room. “Kyle?” I asked alarmed to find the room empty.

Kyle:
I kissed her again quickly then groaned when Krissy called. I slid my hand down Ebony's neck and arm slowly then took hold of her hand. “Come on.”
