Ebony:

I gave Kyle's hand a squeeze, reading Krissy's texts on Kyle's phone. I chewed on my lip before saying softly to Kyle "Should I step out? I don't want to get inbetween any family things..."

Kyle:

“No You're fine where you are.” I said with a smile. My mom turned around and watched us with a cool expression holding a muffin to her lips. “Tell her I need her back here soon when you call her.”

Ebony:

I smiled up at him, but the smile died a bit when I saw Kyle's mom's expression. I looked down at the floor again, feeling awkward. What had I done to make her not like me like this?

Kyle:

I sighed and squeezed her hand lightly. “Yeah I'll call her.” I said pulling Ebony with me out of the room. “I'm sorry about that.” I said quietly to Ebony.

Ebony:

I shrugged. "I'm not sure what I did wrong though." I said back just as quietly. I wanted Kyle's mom to like me, after all I was dating her son...

Kyle:

“You didn't do any thing wrong. My mom is just suspicious, especially of whoever Krissy introduces.” I told her lightly brushing her cheek with the back of my hand.

Ebony:

I smiled softly at him nuzzling gently against his hand. "Why?" I asked gently.

Kyle:

I sighed and rubbed her back. “My mom is naturally suspicious and Krissy is naturally friendly and trusting. My mom knows that about her and so she doesn't trust the people Krissy brings home, that and we have had a few mishaps with Krissy's friends.”

Ebony:

I nodded and then giggled. "She would freak if she knew about Michael." I smiled up at him, letting out a sound that could be taken as purring.

Kyle:

I grimaced slightly but then smiled at her. “I honestly don't want to know what she'd do.”

Ebony:

I giggled again. "They make a cute couple though." I said resting my head against his chest.

Kyle:

I gave her a flat look. “I beg to differ.” I said dully holding her around the waist.

Ebony:

"Aw, why not? They do look cute together..." I said resting my chin flat against his chest so that I could look up at him.

Kyle:

I put my hand on the side of her face and lightly ran my thumb over her bottom lip. “I don't think so.”

Ebony:

"I will agree that I look feminine if you agree that they make a cute couple." I bartered shivering a bit.

Kyle:

“It's fact that you look feminine, I'm not saying the same for the other. It doesn't matter if you think you are or not, you're just wrong.” I countered smiling.

Ebony:

I narrowed my eyes up at him. "It doesn't work like that."

Kyle:

I grinned at her. “Oh? How does it work?”

Ebony:

I rested my head on his chest so I wouldn't have to look him in the eye. "It isn't a fact, unless I believe it too. Its your opinion."

Kyle:

“No, it's fact. Ask any one.” I told her rubbing her back lightly.

Ebony:

"I have already asked myself, and myself and I don't believe so." I said trying not to enjoy him rubbing my back.

Kyle:

“Then you and yourself are simply wrong. Don't feel bad about it, lots of people are. I have even been wrong a few times.” I said, smirking.

Ebony:

I punched his chest gently, not really mad at him. How can one be mad at someone when they are flattering you...plus they are as cute as him...

((I'm heading to bed, Get to see my grades tomorrow after aceing all of my finals =) ))

Kyle:

I grabbed her hand then kissed her cheek. “You should believe it, it's the truth as I have already said.”

Ebony:

"No its not..." I muttered, trying not to give in.
