Katniss:
"Oh, i'm sorry," I said and let him go. Peeta laughed a bit and kissed the side of my head.

"whats so funny?! Haymitch is dead!!" i yelled.

Katniss:
"We know. We saw it, Edward. But you can't be upset all the time or they win, do you understand? They will destroy you if you let them get to you. Did you watch the tapes of our Games? We didn't let what was around us get to us, thats why we're alive. Haymitch let it get to him and he had to drink to forget. Don't you dare be weak. Where is your sister? Annie must be with you also, if Kai's here. Where's Gale and his wife?" I asked.

"we were going to them to meet with keller, and sin is with annie..." i sighed. "why is this happening? is there a war? a capitol uprising?" i wanted an answer.

Katniss:
"We don't know. Keller is still alive? Thats good. I hope Gale and Lynette are too," I said.

i punched the wall. "i dont care about anyone but us , mom. gale killed prim.." I stood up.

Katniss:
"It was an accident. Its like blaming you for something you weren't aware of," I snapped.

An accident? No way would i believe that. "Then why did you kill coin?" I snapped back.

Katniss:
"Because she would've been just like Snow. She offered a 'last' Hunger Games but i knew if there was a rebellion, she would make more," I said.

i nod. "still, it isnt right that you ignore the death of haymitch after he saved you in the 74th and 75th games as well as the rebellion!" I yelled. "Dad, please, you know im right..."

Katniss:
"I'm not ignoring it, but in war you need to move on quickly," I said to him. Peeta rested a hand on my lower back.
"You may be right, but so is Katniss. You have to move on in war, you can't dwell on it. Thats why your sister has always been better in those situations. She deals with hurt after the fact while you decide to cry at the worst times. After this blows over, we'll have a proper funeral for Haymitch," Peeta said.

i nod again, hugging them both as tears rolled down. ill make those bastards pay for killing haymitch., i thought as sin walks in blood-drenched carrying annie with her chest having a large hole through her chest as kai yelled "mom!!" out as a loud siren goes off.

Sin:
"I-I-I don't k-k-know.... Annie! They w-were sh-sh-shooting at m-me. A-a-a-and she g-got in the w-w-way," I stuttered, tears streaming down my face. Kai held her to him and cried.
"Don't worry, baby. Stay with the Mellarks. I'm gonna see your dad," Annie whispered and the life left her.

"A-Annie..." i stuttered, closing her eyes as i was shocked, never seeing bullet wounds. "we...we've got no place to run...nor time..wait..Keller!" i barged through everyone as i dissappeared into the pholiage. i wont let sin get hurt.

Sin:
I ran through the crowds, the hood covering my head. I looked around, yelling Keller's name.

i see him, chained to a wall being whipped to death by a guard as i pierce the guard's eye with an arrow. " Thats for the Odair's you bastards!!" I yelled. "Sal, get him out of there!" i called her sal whenever we would celebrate holloween and she'd dress up as a witch while i dressed up as a hunter.

Sin:
I nodded and ran up to the platform. I got him off and pulled my cloak around him. I helped him run away.

i shot down guard after guard as i saw my mother in action from afar, doing the same.

Sin:
Dad and i got Keller away into the woods while Momma and Eddie fought. Kai ran with us, helping me carry Keller.

we catch up with them. "...in a way, that was kinda fun." i felt proud. i saved keller, sin, kai, and my dad with the mockingjay - mom. i held dad's chain to my neck as i cracked a smile.

Sin:
I looked over Keller, ignoring my brother. I helped Keller onto his stomach to look over his back. tried to clean out the wounds.

i assisted her as kai does too.

Sin:
After a few hours, he was passed out but alive.

Peeta and Katniss smiled at us both.
"dad.." I walk with him a few feet from the others. "is it...Thirteen?...the guards were wearing the mockingjay arm band..." i whispered.

Sin:
I kissed him softly and pulled away. I smoothed his hair softly, slowly.
