Perfect Assassins

((I am really, really sorry and I don't mean to be a grammar nazi in any way, but what you just wrote jumped out at me and my evil twin demands I correct it; My and Lexi's sister, not Lexi and I's sister... I'm sorry, don't hate me! >.<))

Krissy:

I blinked in surprise and leaned against the back of the couch Ebony was on chewing on my lip.

Kyle:

I wrapped an arm around Lexi's waist when she came in. "That doesn't really surprise me." I said shrugging.

i look atthem. Wow. i ddint say anything i just tried to locate simularities between them

Lexi frowned, looking up at Kyle. She was surprised by what he said. He had...disagreed with her on the subject and told her she was wrong. Now he just said he believed?

Jake nodded. "I know it's a lot to take in guys and she doesn't know yet but..." he smiled softly. "I'm happy to say that she is my sister."

Kyle:

I looked down at Lexi and read her line of thought through her eyes. I shrugged once again. "It wouldn't have surprised me if she wasn't your sister either." I explained quietly as Jake spoke. "Yep, it is absolutely wonderful news." I looked away from Lexi to my sister whose voice was slightly strained and less up beat then her statement required.

Jake watched Krissy carefully, noting the tone of voice she used. "Okay...then... Anyway. Who should tell her? Me? Or Lexi? Or even Will? She seems to like him best."

"But..." Lexi still frowned, her eyebrows knit together in confusion.

Krissy:

I looked back at Jake then glanced around the room. I noticed Seth had dropped his gaze to the floor whenever Jake mentioned Ebony liking Will best of any one. "Jake, It most definitely should be you or else Lexi. You two are her family and she should hear it from no one else. "Besides you are forgetting that she is currently unconscious and half mangled." I said sharply, in annoyance. I leaned over the back of the couch and lifted her eye lids just to check, and made sure she wasn't still bleeding, also that her heart hadn't stopped.

"Sit tight," Jake replied, kneeling next to Ebony and taking a look at her wounds. "I can fix her right up. Can someone either rip up a t-shirt for me or get a couple strips of bandages?"

Krissy:

I handed him the box I brought in with a blank look and my lips slightly pressed together.

Kyle:

"Did you find any one?" I asked Lexi and Seth.

"Only the guys who were dead. I think we should leave before whoever sent those guys find out where we are. Their bodies aren't too far from here," Lexi murmured, not wanting to worry Krissy or the others. She and Kyle and Seth could handle it just fine.

Kyle:

I nodded. "Yeah, I think you are right. It was nice staying in one place for a while, but we can't stay here forever. I think my uncle was going to kick us out soon any way."

"Honestly, I don't blame him. Our numbers have grown since it was just the three of us..." Lexi admitted softly, sighing.

Kyle:

"You bet they have. I preferred it better when it was just the us. And Mel, she wasn't too bad, bit on the strange side. Zane too, though he out striped her in the nutty category." I said quietly, smiling at old memories.

I was just listening to them talk, not seeying anything i could add

"God, I miss them..." Lexi admitted, sighing as she rubbed her eyes. "Well...let's grab Michael and head out. There's a safehouse not too far from here that I used when I was little. We should be safe there for a night or two until Ebony's feeling better. Then we might wanna split up to throw them off our track."

Kyle:

"Split up? Who would we be splitting up from?" I asked. If I could keep Lexi and my sister with me and preferably leave will behind, I would be happy.

"I don't know... Krissy and Michael, you and me, Will and Ebony, Jake and Seth or something like that. Maybe fours..." Lexi sighed, shrugging her shoulders. "Whatever works best. Someone's after Ebony. The more groups we divide into, the harder it will be for them to track her."

Krissy:

"Or the easier it will be to kill her if there are less people around her." I said moving up to them with the help of my crutch. Kyle put an arm around me as well as Lexi. "I'll go with her." I said leaning against him.

Kyle:

I made a face. "You wont be much help, you're as good as a cripple at the moment." I told her. She scowled. "That's mean. I can still throw knives and shoot just fine."

"As long as all of us are safe, i dont mind what groups. We dont need anyone else injured." i say.

"No kidding..." Lexi agreed. "But we can't move quickly with so many people. We're in more danger together than we are seperated."

Krissy:

I frowned. "But how long would we stay apart?" I asked. It freaked me out just for them to leave for a few hours. What if I'd have to stay separated from everyone for weeks or even months at a time? My stomach twisted.

"A day or two? Then meet back up for a day, split back up, changing groups. We would confuse the hell out of them," Lexi grinned wickedly at the thought.

Kyle:

I grinned. "I like the sound of that. Though we'd have to move in different directions and we could meet up until we were sure no one was following us."

Its a good idea." i say agreeing with them. "Do all of us have phones? that way we can keep in touch"

"Always do," Lexi said, holding up her phone. Jake held up his once he was done bandaging Ebony up. He admired his handiwork before slipping the phone back into his pocket.

Krissy:

I shrugged. "Yeah, usually. I don't always have it on me..." I muttered.
