"Stop, Drake. It's okay." I whispered. My cousin screamed.

I stopped as I stood in front of Nell and just glared at her cousin.

"its okay. i don't care" i sighed.

I shifted back and held my side."Nell you should care."I said as I looked at her."Lets go to my place and I will take care of your stab wound." I said as I took her hand.

"No. I'll go to the hospital." I whispered.

"I should go with you."I said to her,why was she acting like this.

I shook my head lazily.
"I'll..... go myself...." i said softly.

"Can I just walk with you to make sure you get there safe."I said to her.

"No. There's one around the corner." i whispered.

"Okay I will see you later."I said as I lightly kissed her cheek.

I watched him for a second, confused. I started walking, not bothering to put my hand over the wound to stop the bleeding. I'd take the long way.

I watched her walk away till I couldn't see her anymore. I turned around and headed to my place.

I was almost there before I passed out. An emergency truck thing came over and put me on a stretcher. They took me inside but I was beyond hearing.

I was at home trying to stitch myself up... I was kinda worried about Nell.

I flatlined twice but they were able to bring me back. I wished they let me die.

I just fell asleep when I finshed I was really tired.

When I woke up, they said that they called my family. I started to cry again.

I woke up and shifted into a bird flying to the hospital... I landed by Nells window and pecked at it.

I opened it to let him in then I closed it.

I shifted back."Hey what is wrong?"I asked her.

"They called my step-aunt and uncle. He cant stop her..." I whispered.

"Nell then lets leave right now."I said to her."I can shift into and I can get us far away from here."I said as I took her hand.

"What do you care? I'm not your girlfriend anymore." I said.

"I know I am your friend and I care for you... And I dont want you to die."I said to her as I looked at her."And I am sure Will doesn't want you to get hurt either."I said

I looked down.
"Bullshit. Plus, I cant get up."
