"All you gotta do is keep him from controlling the people and then knock him out. have Cam take him away. it's not like you're giving him a death sentance."

"He's still my brother though..I don't wanna kill the guy."

"You're not killing him. you're knocking him out. and they wont kill him, he's to powerful. they'll probably just keep him in some type of extreme lock down."

"They?" I askd looking at him.

"The ones Cam answers to. You do know that the Heroes dont really run the show, it's the government pulling their strings. The government assigns a hero to the side kick...most of the time. the Government also pays for the living expences. And then there are people with abilities that just dissapear, the rumer is the government deems them a threat and puts them in Cryo freez, but that only happens to people with abilities to control the mind. from what i seen your brother's victums still have free speach, so that wouldnt happen to him."

"because he can't tap into that part of his powers yet. When he can..then we're all screwd." I sighed

"When he can, they'll freez him. He'll no longer exist everything pointing to the fact that he was here..gone. I've seen it happen. The Norms are just scared of loosing power, they want us to answer to them not the other way around. Once he can control the mind, He'll get frozen. and if they dont have him in custody when he finally starts that, then they'll send every available person after him. then it's either they kill him or bring him in to be frozen, which ever is easyiest."

Pepper- When I was sitting, I pulled up my jean leg. There were bloody scrapes covering it, and my ankle was twisted.

"Want me to get something to clean it?" she asked

I sighed and looked down. "I can't do that to him...If he dose do that. I'll hid him. I'm not letting him get frozen."

"If he's locked up and cant use his power then it wont grow." he said. "And if you did that you'd be concidered one of sympathizer. It'll be just as bad as if you freed him from the freezer. They'll kill you or freez you too...if they found out."

I sniffed and looked at him then looked down. "I guess..' I whisperd

"Sorry..." he said. "I'm not always good at the comforting thing." he lifted her chin. "Why dont we find something to eat. ok?" he said

"Okay..lets go.." I said with a smile.

"We're going out? or staying in?" he asked

"We can order in." I said with a smile as I stood up. "We can get chinise food..then watch a movie."

"That sounds perfect." he said standing with her

Pepper- My eyes widened and I vigorously shook my head no. I HATED medicines, I HATED the alchohal they put on it, I HATED everything and anything like it!

"I'll call Cam. See if she and Pepper want some to." I said pulling out my cell phone.

"Ok." she said "Then we can talk." she sat down. "Have you heard them say anything around the training center about looking for anyone? anyone who might have escaped?" she asked. she really just wanted to know if Alec was ok.

"ok"

(Sorry, I've been looking through old things. I know, I'm a horrible person!)

Pepper- I stared at the bench. "Sometimes...sometimes they'll say things they shouldn't...Stuff like 'Have they found them yet?' or 'We need to find out where he is!'...Each time one of them says something, an alarm goes off, and we get a new teacher...The old one doesn't come back..." I said, in a faraway place.

she nodded. "Ok. thanks" she said

Pepper- I shook my head to clear it, then looked up as it started sprinkling.

I dialed Cam's number then waited. I pulled out the Chinise take out menu and handed it to Less. "Get what you want."

he looked over the menue.

she picked up her cell sounding a little relieved and reguvinated, like a small wieght wasnt on her at the moment. "Yes?" she said.
