she was worked over prety good. the tiger was on top of her ready to go for 'the kill', she was pushing her flames as hot as she could. Though that was tiering her out, it had her arms pinned. the head was coming down then it vanished...turned to dust. Cam lay there tired and in a little pain, her flames went out quickly which wasnt like her. Cam usually let them go out slowly, because it was to strainful on her body for them to go out to fast. She lay there, breathing heavily.

I ran to thr traners and helpd them defeat the rest of the thigns attacking the bulidings. "Cam?! Are you okay?!" I called out.

Cam

"It's Torch." she called. "I'm fine." she said, laying there looking up at where the metal head had been it's mouth open and teeth sharp. she shook her head a bit. "I'm fine." she said again, this time to herself. then she slowly sat up.

We finished off the other things then I ran over to Cam. "Sorry Torch. I forgot.." I sighed. "Are you okay?"

Cam
she gave a reasuring smile, though she was scratched up a lot. "I'm ok...just way tired. pushed things to far to fast." she said. she took a deep breath and gave a very small wince. "Let's head back." she said.

Pepper- I pushed myself up from where I had been sitting when I saw Cam and Tristen heading back. "Hey," I said quietly, falling into step with Cam.

Cam
"Hey, how's things?" she asked, sounding ok 'looking ok' well for someone who fought a metal tiger and lion with now real way to to kee them at bay. she was doing good at hiding how tired and weak she really felt...for the moment. she gave Pepper a smile.

Pepper- I blew my bangs out of my face with an annoyed puff of air. "Horrible. How was your fight with giant metal mabobs?"

Cam
she gave a small pathetic chuckle. "You saw that?" she sighed. "How Imbarasing...worst fight in a long time." she said. "I'm so tire." she said with another smile. "But you are more then welcome to come back and eat, watch tv or talk if i dont zonk out." she said

Pepper- I had to let out a small laugh at that. "Sure. I'll make you some herbal tea. Oh, and Cam, if it makes you feel any better, I wouldn't have lasted two seconds," I said truthfully.

Cam
"Gives me very little comfort." she said. "But that's why i had Tristen go help the others... no sence in both of us getting knocked around like that." she said and glanced over at Tristen, then back at Pepper.

Pepper- "Maybe we should all work on self defense and offence more often," I suggested as we walked onto North Maple, only about a block from her house. "I mean, my power's useless, and I get into plenty of trouble, it might be a good idea, right?"

Cam
"Yeah...ok." she said. "If i could only Get my flames hotter..." she muttered

( i gtg...my dad's taking the comp for a while....I'll b on tonight though)

Pepper- "You'd be in the hospital, Cam, and you know it," I said.

Cam
"....I know. But that didnt stop me from trying..." she said. "I know my bodies not ready for that kind of heat yet, but it just seem's like all I got is the basic. I'm tired of waiting for my fire to grow. I mean...I'm suposed to be the Pro out there right? Today I looked like a freaking trainie." She said.

Pepper- "And I always look like one," I teased, trying to make her feel better. "And, so what? You're still learning, even if you aren't in Training anymore. They only teach us the basics, we gotta figure the rest out for ourselves."

i followed the sewers to the one just below the apartment complex that I called home. i opened a chainlink gate as stepped onto an elevator like thing. but instead of going up when I hit the button it went backward and where the gate was a section of brick wall replaced it.. A moment later i was stepping into my "Lair" it was more of a mix between a hightech military intellegence room and a comfy cabin like apartment. i walked to the bathroom and stripped out of the leather body suit I always wore when I caused trouble. every muscle, toned by rigorus training at that place, ached and strained. It had been five years since i had dissappeared from their radar and now i had been all but forgotten... and I want revenge

she shrugged. "I dont care...i should've. never mind." she said. they were just guna keep going back and forth. the thing that bugged her most was that the women seemes somehow familiar, or well something about her or...something. they got back and she opened the door. "Finally." she said as she walked in

i turned on the hot water and stepped into the water shivering

Pepper- I smiled slightly and went imidiatly to make her herbal tea from scratch, I hated the bottled kind and the kind in bags. Blegh. I brought the steaming mug out to her, smiling a bit as I handed it to her. "New recipe, tell me what you think," I said, really hoping this one tasted good.

"AM I always going to be your guinypig?" she asked teasing. she took a sip. "It's uh...not to bad. better then the others." she said, drinking a bit more
