Krissy:

I kicked Kyle in the shins when he started to say some thing. "Of course we don't mind. Come tell us what happened earlier that left you so beaten up."

i shrug and sit down next to her. "I tracked down Bane early today, but when i tried to go in to kill him, i made a mistake and he took off. I chased him for half an hour before we ende dup on the roof of the hotel. We fought, he ran and now, here we are"

"You missed a few parts. You met us, remember?" Lexi asked jokingly, trying to lighten the mood a bit.

that got a small smile. 'yes i skipped obvious plot points" i say starting to eat my whopper

Krissy:

I smiled happily. I liked being around people, and after months with just Kyle this seemed like heaven. I picked at my salad absently taking a few bites.

"Eat, Krissy," Lexi ordered, practically inhaling her own whopper and fries.

Krissy:

I shoved a mouth full of salad into my mouth and muttered, "Hmph," Around it.

"Good, girl," Lexi said, patting her friend's head, giggling before she stole some of Kyle's fries and shoved them in her mouth. She looked away, humming innocently.

Kyle:

I put an arm around my food and scooted it away from Lexi. "This is the thanks I get for keeping you around." I muttered. Krissy giggled.

Lexi grinned innocently. "What? I'm a growing girl!"

Kyle:

"Eat your own food! I'm growing too!" I said hiding my fries.

"WHATEVER! You're way older than us! You're like...what? Twenty?" Lexi teased.

Kyle:

"No, and I need to eat more than you, to feed muscles and what not." Krissy burst into a fit of giggles. "What muscles?!" She gasped though laughter.

Lexi laughed out loud with Krissy, tears leaking from her eyes.

I ate silenlty

Kyle:

I scowled at them. "Some time's I wonder what it would be like if I dumped you two and went off on my own." "Oh but you wouldn't! You love us too much." Krissy said smiling brightly

Lexi immediately went silent after that and looked out the window. It was too painful to think about if she were left on her own again.

Kyle:

I squeezed her arm lightly. "Lex, I was kidding. I'm not going to leave you two." I said softly.

Lexi nodded, but still didn't look convinced.

Kyle:

"Here, have some fries." I said offering my plate to her.

Lexi managed a small smile and took a fry, munching on it.

"where ar eyou guys headed after this? if you dont mind me asking."

Kyle:

"We don't really have a plan," I said looking at him. I ruffled Lexi's hair and added, "This one wants to head North, which really we would be doing any way, but I think she means way up North."

"Like snow everywhere north?"

"YES! I love snow!" Lexi squealed, immediately happy again.
