The Creation of the Perfect Assassins

Kyle:
She left without another word but looked pretty disappointed. “I’m sorry I hushed you. Thanks, for sticking up for me. I just didn’t want her to snap at you.” I said to Lexi.

"Believe me. I'm not scared of that woman and if she snapped at me, she would've found a knife in her throat," Lexi replied, putting the knife away. "She found us. We need to leave and get a new safe house."

Kyle:

“I know. But Lexi, I think you put too much faith in your ability. My aunt has been an assassin for over twenty years. She easily could have killed us all in a blink of the eye.” I said

Lexi continued looking at Kyle and made a face after a moment. "Still not scared of her."

Kyle:

I sighed and ruffled her hair. “Go get ready.” I told her.

Lexi nodded, fixing her hair as she ran off to grab her backpack. She was back in moments. "Let's go."

Kyle:

“Krissy is still getting her stuff.” I said with a sigh, sitting on the couch. “Do you think its irresponsible for me to try to raise her?” I asked almost more to myself than her.

"No. I think you're doing the right thing. You're her big brother and for now, you know what's best for her. Once she's grown up enough to make her own decisions, then you can stop playing parent and work on being a big brother," Lexi said, smiling gently.

Kyle:

I breathed deeply and ran my hands through my hair. “I guess. At least she has you though, another girl.”

"Yeah. I'll do for now, I guess," Lexi smiled, shouldering her pack.

Kyle:

“I know she thinks of you like a sister.” I said quietly. I was glad she was with us for Krissy’s sake even if it was a little more of a strain on me.

"So do I," Lexi admitted. "You're the only family I got now."

Kai

I panted and sprinted down the sidewalk, hearing the cars tires squealing behind me as it rounded a corner. I glanced at my watch and ran faster. "Not good, not good, not good!" I panted out flinching a bit as a bullet hit the mailbox ahead of me. "Come on, why wont it go?" I muttered glancing behind me briefly.

Krissy:

I hurried down the stairs and out to the car to put my bag in the trunk. I went back in with a troubled look. “I think I heart shooting out there…” I said uneasily. Kyle cursed then rubbed the back of his neck and apologized to us for it. He pulled his gun out and peered out the window.

Kai:

I ducked behind a car in a driveway and peeked back just as an explosion ripped out from the car sending pieces flying. The blast knocked me down and sent me tumbling. I groaned and started shaking silently. To others it would look like I was crying, but I was laughing, hard.

Lexi jumped when she heard the explosion and whipped her knife out, ready to use it on everyone and anyone that would harm her, krissy, or Kyle.

((Hahaha, oh Lexi you make me laugh! XD Yeah Ethan, you did. Kyle and Krissy’s Aunt pretty much just wanted the two of them to come with her and Kyle said no and she left. Then they started packing up and now they hear the explosion caused by whoever is after Tyrial’s charrie. That’s it in a nutshell.))

Kyle:

“You all stay here.” I said going out the front door.

Krissy:

I pulled my knife and followed hot on his heels.

I sat up and stretched still laughing. I got to my feet and cheered silently a grin on my face. "That...was...so...cool!" I said excitedly.

I looked outside the window, watching the others in case they needed help, other than that i woudkl stay in here. I subconsciously ran the tip of my knife along the scar on my face, as i did when i was bored or waiting.

Lexi shifted anxiously from foot to foot, wanting to run after them but she was trying to get Kyle to trust her and disobeying his orders was not the way to go.
