Perfect Assassins

Krissy:

I glanced at him then looked out the window. "I'm sure they are too." I said quietly but my stomach was knotting familiarly with worry.

"Why dont you call them? not the other way around?"

Krissy:

I crossed my arms. "I don't want to make Kyle think I miss him or am worried for him, it please him too much." I said indignantly. "Besides he ought to call me, I'm his little sister after all, he should be checking to see if I'm alright."

i roll my eyes a bit. "Sibling rivalries. i could just call myself and tell you you know."

Krissy:

"Don't worry about it. This way when he calls I can yell at him for not doing it sooner." I said with a small smile.

"Should I give Krissy a call?" Lexi asked curiously.

Kyle:

"Yeah, I suppose we should. I wonder what messes they've gotten themselves into this time." I said musingly.

"Aw, hell. Who knows?" Lexi asked, whipping out her cell and dialing Krissy's number. "Hey, girl. You wanna meet us up north for Christmas?"

Krissy:

"Speak of the devil." I muttered before answering. "Christmas? Is it that time already? Wow.... Did you say up North? God, why?" I said with a grimace.

"FOR ICESKATING!" Lexi exclaimed, grinning. "Come on, I know it's cold but I'll buy you a big fuzzy blanket and I'll show you pics of Kyle and I's house!"

Krissy:

"Oh joy, that makes it all the better." I said dully.

"Going north?" i ask listening to them

"Come ON, Krissy! PLEASE?!" Lexi begged over the phone. She even pulled the puppy-dog pout, despite Krissy not actually being able to see her.

Krissy:

I put my hand over the phone and whispered to Will, "Go North for Christmas, presumably so we can ice-skate in the great out doors."

Kyle:

I watched Lexi trying to talk Krissy into this with great amusement. I laughed when she put on the puppy dog face.

Krissy:

I heard my brother laughing and went back to talk to Lexi. "Fine whatever, yeah, we'll meet you." I said then muttered, "Boy isn't this going to be the best Christmas ever."

Yay, grea.t cold." i sigh and pull into a goodwill

"YAY!" Lexi exclaimed excitedly. "I can't wait! We'll figure out a date and place okay? I miss you guys SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much!"

Krissy:

"Yeah, yeah, yeah. We miss you too. Put that guy you like so much on the phone." I said meaning Kyle.

I got out of the car and headed inside

"Sure," Lexi handed Kyle the phone. "It's that sister of yours we like so much."

A pretty blond woman walked up to Will. "Can I help you with any thing?" She asked smiling.

Kyle:

I smiled and took the phone hearing Krissy giggle softly. "Hey sis," I said. "You didn't call me, I could have died. You wouldn't have known until just now though because you never called me." She said sounding unhappy but not too serious. "Oh no, I knew you wouldn't have died that easy, it take you longer than just a day." I retorted.

Krissy:

I smiled and rolled my eyes. He was trying to play to my ego. "Well, you still should have called. Just because I am hard to kill doesn't mean some one couldn't have popped you in the head." I grinned. "That's harsh." He said. I pulled on a jacket and made to go after Will despite how rediculess I looked. "My point, dearest brother, is that you worried me." I said closing the car door. "And on that subject have you or Lexi heard from Mi- Ebony and them?" I asked leaning against the car for a moment.

I shake my head "No wer efine. but thank you" i said heading towards the clothes section

Lexi listened in one the conversation and frowned, shaking her head. "I haven't heard from Jake yet either. It's like everyone just dropped off the face of the world."

Kyle:

"What did Lexi say?" Krissy asked sounding worried. "She said she hasn't heard from Jake either, but it isn't like that is a surprise, we never hear from Jake." I said though I was frowning. "Have either of you tried calling any of them?" I asked both my sister and Lexi. "No but I was going to after talking to you."

"I'm worried..." Lexi admitted. "We can't have them disappear like Melody and Zane. We still have no idea where THEY went... Much less James..."

i got some new clothes for me and bought them, heading out of the store
