Perfect Assassins

Krissy:

I laughed. "I've missed you, James." I said smiling watching the road.

"Agreed. the numbe ryoiu guys gave me when i left didnt work, thats why i wasnt in contact"

Krissy:

"Oh, well we got in some trouble shortly after and had our phones taken away." I said.

ah, that sucks" i say closing my eyes and moving my hair out of my face, Will was asleep

Krissy:

I shrugged. I glanced at will seeing him asleep and smiled softly. "So you haven't found another group since us? No one you wanted to stick with?"

"No one else wanted anything to do with me. Ive mainly been looking for Him." i say scowling

It didn't take long after Kyle left.

Lexi was laying on the couch, barely awake as she slipped in and out of conciousness. Next thing she knew, a hand was over her mouth and someone else was tying her hands together. She screamed and squirmed, trying to break free or yell for help but no one else was there.

But...how could they have gotten into the house?

Looking up, Lexi gasped, seeing the same eyes that belonged to her butler smiling down at her through a ski mask. He was the only other person who knew how to bypass the security system.

By the time Kyle returned, she and Fernando were long gone.

Kyle:

I got back and immediately got a sense of some thing wrong. "Lexi?" I called through the house taking the groceries to the kitchen. "Baby? Hell, where are you?" I searched the main rooms calling her name but knowing I wasn't going to find her.

Krissy:

"Still? You haven't found him?" I asked

he covered his tracks. really well, i havnt found a trace of his existence. After he attacked us he went off the radar"

Screaming, Lexi fought back, struggling against the men holding her and the bonds restraining her. She hated it. Especially being helpless like she was. What was worse was that she was only the bait. They wanted Kyle but they knew better than to attack him. But who were they?

Krissy:

"Couldn't he have gotten killed by some one else?" I asked hopefully.

Kyle:

I went back to the living room and called her cell praying she either had just gone out or I could track the number.

"No one else has any beef with him. i wouldnt see why he would get kileld by someone else"

Lexi's cell rang in her back pocket, singing the "Forget You" song from Glee. She groaned angrily, figuring it was Kyle as the phone was taken from her backpack and answered but the man who answered it didn't talk. He just stood there, breathing, waiting for Kyle to say something. Lexi struggled against the other man holding her down in that dark room. She tried screaming but it was muffled and she doubted Kyle could hear it. But..he did have good hearing.

Kyle:

My stomach clenched when I heard Lexi. "Who the ******* hell are you and what do you want with Lexi?" I asked, my voice flat.

Krissy:

"Luck? Maybe he got flattened by a bus. Any way, if he isn't causing trouble for you can't you just leave it at that? For all you know he did die, maybe he got sick, or was bitten, or fell down an elevator shaft or better yet a really tall building and got speared on a telephone pole." I said happily, my mind bouncing around to creative deaths naturally caused.

The man smirked and looked over at Lexi. "I'm willing to trade her in exchange for your life," he said, his voice just as flat as Kyle's but his expression said that he was enjoying it. Lexi then recognized the voice. It belonged to Fernando, their supposed butler.

Kyle:

I was taken aback for a second. "My life?" I asked mystified forgetting to be calm and cold. "Why would you want my life? What difference does it make whether I'm alive or dead?" I asked. Lexi was the one of value, Lexi was the one people wanted dead or for themselves. The only thing I could imagine was I had pissed some one off, and in all honesty, that was fairly likely.

"An eye for an eye, a life for a life. You were under contract to kill my sister, Kyle, and that you did. I want you dead," Fernando growled, pulling a gun out and firing at Lexi. The bullet ripped through her arm and she gasped in pain, the man holding her letting her go so she fell to the ground with a painful 'oof!'

Kyle:

I clenched my fists. "If I was contracted to kill your sister then you are probably better off without her." I hissed. "And Fine, you got me, but Lexi better not be touched. Just know I can turn your life into hell, easily."

"You already have, boy. Don't bother going anywhere or calling your sister for help. I will be there in one hour with the girl," Fernando growled, hanging up on Kyle. He looked over at Lexi and glared. "You'll soon be reunited with your soon to be late-boyfriend."

And with that, he stalked from the room, his men following him. Lexi, pretending to be more wounded than she was, was able to grab one of their cells and hide it before they locked her in.

She grinned when she was alone and called Krissy. Before she could say anything when she picked up, Lexi said, "Krissy, listen to me. I've been kidnapped by Kyle and I's butler and he wants to trade me for Kyle's life. Although...something tells me he's not gonna let me go after he kills Kyle and I won't let him do it without a fight! Can you get to the house in an hour?"

Krissy:

I cursed and sped up past the odometers scale. "I can't make it in an hour, not even going the speed I am. Lexi, stall them, please. I'll be there as soon as I can." I said quickly.

James
I raised my head to look at her "Lexi? What happened to Lexi?" i ask worriedly, "What about Kyle?" I ask, clueless

Will
I opened my eyes "what happened now?" i ask not suprised by anytihng, i knew at some point something would happen to either us or them

Krissy:

"Lexi? Lex?" I asked after hearing silence on the other line. I set the phone down miserably. "Lexi got snatched and they want to trade her for Kyle's life. I don't know why but they're doing it in an hour and we're farther away than that. It will take at least an hour and a half to get there and that's if the car holds out at this speed." I explained.

"Who took her this time?" i asked her, still not suprised. "and will she be able to buy us time?"

Krissy:

"She said some thing bout their butler? And we got cut off." I told him. "I'm going to call Michael, see if they are closer." I said dialing his number.

Hopefully they answer.." i say sighing and running a hand through my hair. We needed to hurry up
