Perfect Assassins

Krissy:

"Alive?" I asked hopping to my feet. I had been too preoccupied with Lexi and Kyle to realize what else was going on but seeing as now they were sucked back into their own little world... "I deal with him!" I said hurrying over to James's friend.

Kyle:

"Well it turned out alright after all, there is no need to feel guilty." I said winding my arms around her waist to pull her closer.

Jack nodded and lowered his gun. "If i am no longer needed, i have a hit to complete"

Krissy:

I nodded then hugged the guy even though I didn't know him. "Thank you so much. If you ever need any help, just call us. We owe you." I said

Lexi smiled, resting her head against Kyle's chest. "That's true..."

no issue" he said and headed off "let me know if you need favors"

Krissy:

I waved then grabbed the only guy left that had helped kidnap Lexi. "You in the garage." I said dragging him with me.

Kyle:

I held her, absently stroking her hair. "Is your arm okay?" I asked.

James
i walked back in as Will disposed the bodies. I crouch down beside Kyle and Lexi "you two alright?"

"I'm fine, guys, really," Lexi said, smiling. She let go of Kyle long enough to hug James. "Hey, big guy! You look so much better! How've you been?" she asked, letting go of him then going straight back to hugging Kyle.

Kyle:

I saw Krissy come out of the garage door, hands bloody. She made a gestured for me to come over then went into the kitchen. "I'll be right back." I said to Lexi and James getting up and going after my sister. "What's up?" I asked watching her scrub her hands in the sink. "That guy? The one in charge? The one who wanted you killed? You know why he wanted you dead?" She asked looking up at me. "Yeah, some thing about me killing his sister." "Yeah, well he's got another one." "Sister?" "Yeah. That guy I talked to said she isn't very dangerous, little thing, but she is clever." I leaned against the counter. "You saying we need to find her?" I asked. "I don't know. It might be a good idea. We can't have loose ends like this. And if she's lost both her brother and her sister then it might not be so bad to end her misery."

Lexi sighed, watching him go before turning back to James, waiting for an answer from him.

i smile a bit "Ive been ok. Just going around the country. What about you?"

Lexi let out a half-hearted laugh. "Let's see...I've been shot...about six hundred times, been in a coma, was r@ped, fell off a building once or twice, been kissed by two different guys, found out that Ebony was my sister, been kidnapped by my brother a few times, and can't find several of my closest friends. Did you get all that?"

Kyle:

I nodded. "What happened to your legs?" I asked. Krissy looked down. "Oh, I fell on shattered glass." "You fell? On shattered glass?" I asked. "That's what I said. Where is the bathroom, I am going to take a quick shower." I took Krissy to our room then went back down stairs to Lexi and James.

so normal stuff?" i say standing up

"Pretty much," Lexi smirked, standing. "It's good to see you, old friend."

you too." i say looking at her "who is this ebony person you speak of? another person you ran into? along with whats his name outside?"

"Yeah. Will...um...he's the other guy that kissed me who wasn't Kyle... And Ebony is a friend of Michael's. Michael is...Krissy's...um...boyfriend?" Lexi tried to explain and she shrugged. "It's kinda complicated. But Michael and Eb are AWOL right now."

Kyle:

"Michael isn't her boyfriend. " I said coming into the room at the end of the conversation.

"He might as well be," Lexi aruged. "They're always together."

Kyle:

"Not always." I said stubbornly. "I don't think he's good for her."

"I respectfully disagree. I can't think of any other guy that WOULD be good for her," Lexi aruged.

Kyle:

"Yeah, that is true. She is better off without anyone." I said.

"Don't say that. Would you be better off without me?" Lexi asked seriously.

Kyle:

"No, that's different." I told her my hand absently reaching for hers.

"And how is it different?" Lexi asked, raising an eyebrow at him.
