Beyond the Castle, part one. (Two person.)

Ario

I smiled at araline shakily. "Who are you talking too? Brians right here. So did we find another person?"

Araline:

"What?  What are you going on about?" I said confused.  I squinted when Brian brought a torch over to us. "Well show me your cuts kid."

Ario

I blinked in confusion at brian. "How did you get over there?" I asked brian confused. "You were just sitting over there a second ago." I pointed before looking at the wolf. "Dont worry he is a friend i promise."

I stared at him in alarm.  "Who are you talking to?" I asked slowly then looked up at Brian worriedly.  "Whats the matter with him?"

Ario

I blinked up at her. "Im talking to the wolf. She followed us in and se was the one who me fall on you."

Araline:

I gave him a weird look.  "No, Ario, there is no wolf." I told him putting my hand on his head to feel his temperature.

Ario

I shied away from her touch. "Your freezing." I said before looking at her like she was crazy. "She is right here. Did you hit your head?"

Araline:

"Oh silly me what was I thinking, of course there is a wild wolf right here with us." I said sarcastically, scowling when he wouldn't let me touch him.  I leaned forward and forced my hand onto his forehead.  "He's really hot." I told Brian who had knelt down next to him.

Ario:

I blinked and flushed a bit. "Am I missing something here?" I asked in confusion. Brian just motioned for me to remove my shirt so I did. There wasn't much left of it but still.

Araline:

Brian moved the the torch closer to look.  I sucked in a breath.  "See?  I think he's got an infection." I said touching the skin around the biggest gash on his stomach.

Darion:

i blinked and looked down. "What? I dont see anything." I said looking down at my bare chest.

Araline:

"Hush," I said putting a finger to his lips.  "Aren't you tired?  Don't you want to rest?" I asked him nodding as I spoke.  "I'm going to go look and see if I can find any thing to help him, just keep him still" Brian said as he left.

Ario:

"No, I need to go out and get some food for us." I said around her finger. I started to try and stand up.

Araline:

I moved my hand to his chest to push him back down.  "No.  You need to rest." I ordered. 

Ario:

"Rest from what? I'm fine, if a bit cold and sore." I said softly swaying a bit. Something clicked in my head and a moment of clarity came over me. I looked up at Araline and said softly. "Something isn't right with me...I think I'm hallucinating...." my eyes glassed over and I blinked up at her. "How did you dye your hair?"

Araline:

I looked down at him worriedly.  "I don't know.  Tell me what it looks like." I said putting my hand back on his head.

Ario:

"Its purple, and when did your eyes turn to gray?" I asked tilting my head. "Your much prettier with your eyes and hair the other way."

Araline:

"Any one would be if they had purple hair." I muttered.  "I really wish you'd get some rest." I said pulling my hand back. 

Ario:

I shook my head tiredly and spoke my voice thick. It was obvious as I spoke that my mouth and brain weren't really communicating and I was saying whatever came to the top of my head as I swayed slightly. "Brian I don't know what to do anymore. I really care about Araline but I don't want to ruin our friendship. And earlier we almost kissed because of the wolf hitting the back of my legs. She looked like she was horrified. Its obvious that she doesn't care about me. So what should I do..." I shook my head and blinked at the imaginary Brian.

Araline:

I sighed miserably and looked down at my lap.  "I do care for you, Ario, I just.." I chewed on my lip knowing he wasn't going to register any of this or remember.  "I just have got to think about it.  And it feels like things are going quickly.  And the main reason we left the castle was so we wouldn't have to be with any one until we were ready...  I don't think I'm ready..." I said feeling like I was talking to myself.

Ario:

I blinked up at her and said softly my voice clearing for a moment before it went back to being thick. "Its alright princess, maybe sometime. When did you get back Aral?" I finished my voice thick once again before I slipped backwards. My eyes were heavy and I eventually drifted off to sleep.

Araline:

I scooted back agains the cave wall and wrapped my arms around my kneel watching him.  I felt like I was all alone despite being right next to him.

Ario:

"I'm sorry for making you worry, or forcing my feelings on you." I whispered softly to her before I blacked out and fell asleep.

Araline:

I blinked at him then sighed and laid down next to him an odd numb feeling centering in my chest.

Ario:

I rolled over to face her, sleeping and falling into a fevered dream.
