Perfect Assassins

Kyle:

I grinned. "Honey, you can be." I said and squeezed her hand again.

Lexi continued to make a face at him, unamused. "No I can't."

Kyle:

I looked down at the table trying to hide my smile. "Oh, yeah, you're right, of course not."

Lexi gently kicked his shin as the waitress came back with their waters and set them in front of them.

Kyle:

I couldn't help but grin and chuckle softly. I looked back up at her and said softly, leaning toward her, "You really can be, but I like it, you're feisty." I winked.

Lexi smirked, her eyes flashing almost dangerously. "Is that so?"

Kyle:

"Mmhmm." I murmured watching her, my own eyes lighting up.

"Huh," Lexi leaned back, a smirk playing over her lips.

Kyle:

I laughed. "Huh? What is that supposed to mean?"

"It means what it is... Huh," Lexi smirked.

Kyle:

"That's so deep. Your use of words is truly extraordinary." I said sarcastically.

"I'm sorry. With two people fighting for control of my head, there's not much room for vocabulary up there," Lexi replied, shrugging.

Kyle:

I frowned. "It's not two people, Lexi, it's just you, just two sides of you."

"You can say what you want to say about her but she is not me," Lexi growled, looking angry as she crossed her arms over her chest.

Kyle:

I sighed and leaned back in my chair. "Baby, you don't have another person living in your head, any rational psychiatrist would say the same." I said calmly.

"So you say. But you don't know what it's like..." Lexi mumbled, holding her head in her hands.

Kyle:

"That's true, but if you keep thinking that Rose Green is a whole person then you are never going to get over this." I told her, frowning.

"I am a real person, Kyle O'Shay," Lexi growled, glaring at Kyle. "And don't say I'm not. Otherwise I'll destroy your precious little girlfriend, got it?"

Kyle:

My breath caught as I stared at her. My eyes turned cold. "Stop it, just stop it. Or I will have to let my sister try again." I hissed.

Rose stood, still smirking. "Who says you can catch me to even let her try? Or that she'll ever know that I still exist." She smiled a mirthful smile at Kyle, batting her eyelashes mockingly. "You don't want her to hurt little Lexi now, do you?"

Kyle:

I grabbed her wrist to keep her from running away. "Fine, Rose," I said grudgingly. "Sit down, tell me what you want."

Rose sat down, seeming almost unable to drop the smirk. "Well, I want you dead. With you out of the way, there would be no resistance and I would be free to do my job and rid the world of the Perfect Assassins. But we all know if I make a move toward you, I'll be stopped."

As if to demonstrate, Rose moved forward, a knife in her hand, it pointed to his chest but it stopped in mid air and she struggled, unable to go farther and actually hurt him. A look of pain crossed her face and she dropped the knife, jerking back. "Lexi won't let me."

Bane
I had followed the couple from the house that the Perfect Assassins were housed in. Originally I was tracking James but i got a new order to watch these two. It seemed that the girl had Multiple Personality Disorder, i cant say much about the guy. I sat in my car in the parking lot watching them, not worried since my windows were tinted dark. No one would tell if i was in here or not.

Kyle:  

I stood up and grabbed her wrist again.  "We're leaving." I said coldly, tossing a tip down on the table even though we hadn't ordered.
