Perfect Assassins

Lexi flinched, stepping back, her back hitting the concrete wall behind her. Ouch. Might as well have gutted Lexi right there. "It doesn't mean that I'm not going to do my best to protect you. I promised."

Krissy:

“I’m going back to Kyle.” I called over my shoulder picking up the pace.

Lexi nodded but didn't follow her. She sighed, putting her head in her hands. How did she always mess up so badly?

"Shut up..." Lex growled.

Is he not responding?" i asked james and he shook his head. "of course not." i mutter and pull my phone out calling lexi

Lexi whipped out her phone and sanswered, sighing. "Hello?"

"i have a couple questions. one of them i wi;ll save for when we actually find you three. Where the hell are you." i said, pissed off.

"Will?" Lexi asked, surprised. "You're not dead?"

That kind of sobered me being angry at them. "You thought I was dead? Why woudl i be dead?" i ask confused

"OH MY GOD! YOU'RE ALIVE!" Lexi jumped up, grinning. "I'm so glad SOMEONE is alive! This guy is hunting us down one by one. I think...I think he already killed Jack."

"she thinks your dead too." i say off to James. i shake my head and sigh.

"James is alive? But then...who died?" Lexi turned pale. "No...God, please tell me Ebony is with you guys!"

"no, I havnt seen ebony since even when were all together last. She bnever talked to me since she met that one dude." i say trying to block out the irritable feeling from entering my voice, but probably failing. "whatever, but no i havnt seen her."

"B-but...S***, S***, S***..." Lexi cursed, shaking her head. "What about Will? Or Jack? Or even Michael?"

Your speaking to Will." i say frowning. "i havnt heard of Jack since you and I first met at that hotel, I havnt talked to Eb, and ive never spoken to Michael. Would Kris know where he is?"

"She doesn't know..." Lexi sighed, her mind was threatening to give out after all this. "Sorry, Will. Can you trace the call? I don't really know where we are."

I can if i can get to a computer. are you ok? you sound more stressed than normal, Lex." i ask

"I want to throw myself off a cliff. Other than that, I'm fine. Thanks for asking," Lexi grumbled.

Talk to me." i say pulling voer to a computer kiosk. I tell james to watch out while i go to an empty section of the kiosk. "You can talk to me, you know i dont spill peoples problems to other people."

"Yeah, well this you'll want to kill a few people with. I promised I wouldn't tell but....I just won't tell you one thing. So... Kyle, Krissy and I were walking and Kyle answers Krissy's phone and walks off, acting weird. He was obviously hiding something. So we got into a big fight about it and stormed off with Krissy then I got HER mad at me and SHE stormed off and I have Rose beating me up mentally and emotionally and I feel like I'm going INSANE You know?"

'Um... im not sure who Rose is, but ill take your word for it. Im sorry, i think we have all experienced the insanity issue.... considering what we all do. The thing i do is just sit in a quiet room and meditate. Drink tea, throw knives, target practice. think about things you care about. it helps"

"HOW THE HELL IS THAT SUPPOSED TO HELP?! Okay...I'm calm... I just need to walk around for a bit to calm down. I'm fine," Lexi said, trying like she was trying to convince herself more than anybody.

"Lex just relax ok? You guys find a place to stay and we will find you, dont hang up yet, im tracing the phone." i tell her waiting for it to trace. "how did we all get separated?"

"I remember going on a date with Kyle but then Rose took over and it went to hell. We picked up Kris who got separated from Michael and now we're all separated," Lexi shrugged. "That's the extent of my knowledge."

alright, then. Who is this rose chick, im not aware of what your speaking of."

"Rose...is another person inside of me. When I was 'killed', they brainwashed me and turned me into her. A cold, caculating murderer, not just an ordinary assassin. She even tried to kill Kyle but Krissy and I managed to stop her," Lexi tried to explain.
