Lexi hung up too and sat down.

we showed up after 20 minutes

Lexi had fallen asleep against the wall.

i knelt down in front of her. "lex."

Krissy:

I actually wanted to be with Kyle at the moment, even if he was keeping things from us. I had felt better when he was in the back seat with me. It seemed like recently we had been growing apart and I didn’t like that.
I got back to the Maserati and leaned against the glass. Where had Kyle gone? I waited for him to come back for several minutes then got impatient. I pulled the door latch and climbed into the front seat. That was weird; he didn’t usually leave it unlocked. I looked down to find the keys in the middle console, sitting on a folded piece of paper. I froze a horrible feeling washing over me. I set the keys in my lap and picked up the paper. My brother’s handwriting was neat compared to mine, and it was so familiar. I read the note feeling more and more nauseous. He’d never left us before by his own will, never. I felt abandoned and alone. Why couldn’t I even hold on to the people I loved most? Much less anyone else. I leaned over the steering wheel and tried not to throw up again as tears streamed down my cheeks. Absolutely nothing was under my control. I was nearly incapacitated with worry for everyone, and I couldn’t even feel secure in my own body anymore. Maybe Lexi was right to want to send me away, I wasn’t much use as it was…
Lexi. She hadn’t come back. She was all I had now and I had been the one to leave her. I jumped out of the car in a blur and took off back to where I had left her. Every step I took I felt like something horrible had happened to her. What if I was too late? What if she was gone? What if I truly lost every one I loved? The thought sent icicles into my chest. I had flash backs of being seven and having lost my mom in a store, I had gotten so hysterical that I had screamed out for her as I ran down the aisles rushing past fellow shoppers. It was worse than that now. “Lexi? Lexi! Lexi?!!” I started yelling once I reached the spot where I left her. I’m not going to find her, I thought and had to stop a moment to hold a wave of nausea down that had nothing to do with pregnancy. I started running again. “Lexi!” I shrieked then rounded a corner. I saw her on the ground next to someone who didn’t even register in my mind. “Oh please no.” I whispered sprinting to her, hitting the concrete hard on my knees thoroughly ripping my jeans. I could barely even see from the tears in my eyes.

I looked up and my eyes widened. "Shit, krissy." i stoo and caught her before she hit Lexi. "whats wrong?!" i ask trying to get her to calpm down

Lexi groaned, waking up, especially hearing her name being called. She rubbed her head, looking around... "Will? Krissy? What's wrong?" she asked, seeing that her friend had been crying. "Hey, you okay?"

Krissy:

I looked up at who was holding me at the sound of their voice. “Will!” I looked to Lexi when she spoke and lunged to wind my arms around her crying harder. “I’m sorry, I’m so sorry. I shouldn’t have left.” I sobbed.

i raise an eye brow, i spun my legs out from under me and sit down in front of them. "whats going on? ar eyou ok Kris?"

"Krissy, it's fine," Lexi hugged her back. "Did something happen?"

Michae

I hesitated before dialing the numbervi had in my head. I took a deep breath as i listened to it ring. It was the only number that worked. The name i could barely remember from the memories that swirled in my head. Maybe...maybe this Lexi could tell me who i was.

Krissy:

“Absolutely nothing is okay or fine!” I sobbed clinging to her. I was barely aware of her pocket buzzing but it didn’t register what it was from. “Everyone is dead, or missing. I’m-“ I cut off at a glance at Will. “I haven’t spoken to Michael in a long time, he could be dead for all I know, and Kyle just left us.”

"I doubt anyone is dead." i say shaking my head

Lexi whipped out her phone, frowning at it. She answered. "Hello?" she asked, confused. Who could possibly be calling her at that hour?

Michael

"H-hello?" I asked uncertainly. Playing with a pencil to try and calm my nerves.

"MICHAEL?" Lexi asked, surprised to hear his voice. "Are you okay? Where are you? Krissy and Will and James are with me! We can come and pick you up! ARE YOU OKAY?"

Krissy:

“Michael? Is he okay? Where is he?” I asked pressing my ear to the back of the phone listening with her.

Michael:

"Y-yeah, I'm ok I think. Um...I'm....I'm in Boston." I said uncertainly. I rubbed my face, trying to figure out the best way to find out about myself and who these people were in my memories, as well as who she was.

"Boston? We can be there in...S***. Where the hell are we? Never mind. Stay where you are and we'll come get you okay? We've got this guy hunting us and I'm afraid that you or Ebony might be next on his list. We've got to stay together. Lemme grab Kyle and we'll head you're way. Stay. There. Okay?" Lexi said quickly.

"Ill get my car ready." i say

Krissy:

I frowned. I would have asked to talk to him but something about the tone of his voice made me stay quiet. Something seemed wrong.

Michael:

I blinked and looked at the phone chewing on my lip before checking the clock. I sighed and got to my feet to go prepare dinner of a sorts. The phone call had just made me more confused, than anything.
