Perfect Assassins

"Maybe?" Lexi guessed but shrugged, the memory not coming. But she still couldn't shake the sense of deja vu.

Kyle:

I flopped down onto the couch frowning. I sighed in irritation. I didn’t like this.

Lexi went over and sat on Kyle, looking at him. "You think I'm crazy," she noted.

Kyle:

“Maybe. I don’t think you were ever here.” I said as I wound my arms around her waist subconsciously

"Then why do I have the strangest sense of deja vu? Nothing makes sense to me anymore." Lexi sighed.

Kyle:

I sighed with her. “I don’t know, Lex.” I said with a soft shrug of the shoulders.

Lexi snuggled against Kyle and put her head under her neck.

Kyle:

I smoothed my hand up and down her back soothingly. “I love you.” I said softly.

"I love you more," Lexi whispered, a small smile creeping its way onto her face.

Kyle:

“That’s not possible.” I told her, my own lips curling up. I lifted her chin up and kissed the corner of her mouth. She was irresistibly adorable.

"BS. I love you most, and you know it," Lexi pretended to pout but couldn't keep the smile off her face.

Kyle:

“That isn’t true! We’ve gone through this before. You love more people, and I only love two, therefore I have more love to give.” I said smugly.

"But I love you infinity to the sqaure root of infinity which is impossible to beat," Lexi replied, just as smugly.

Kyle:

“You are a liar, and you don’t even know how much that is.” I said with a small chuckle as I squeezed her sides playfully.

"I know it's a lot!" Lexi countered, smirking.

Kyle:

“Well, I love you a lot more.” I said and kissed her to cut off any come back.

Lexi smiled, kissing him back but still thumped his shoulder to let him know that it wasn't over.

Kyle:

I chuckled but continued kissing her and wound my hand in her hair holding her to me.

Lexi kissed him back, straddling him now.

Kyle:

I pulled back slightly. “You know, we’re completely alone… for like the first time in a while.” I said breathily.

"So...you wanna...do it again?" Lexi asked, smiling.

Kyle:

“Mmm.” I murmured leaning in to kiss her neck.

"That's not an answer..." Lexi mumbled, shivering as he kissed her neck.

Kyle:

I slid my hand along her bare back under her shirt. “Do I really need to answer?” I asked pausing at her neck.

"Guess not," Lexi smiled, blushing.
