"The future," I said softly.

"Getting married, having a kid. Raising Tyler right, so he's not violent. Being free of the School. Living in a house, all of us. Happy and safe.... but that won't ever happen. Any of it," I said and shrugged.

it could happen, we just need to work on it. you know? Im sure we can raise Tyler right, Jake is trying to be a good father for him."

Mallory:
"I know, but he hardly spends time with him," I said. "You're more of a father figure to Tyler than Jake is."

Jake needs to work on things, we is more interested in his experiments then his family, or what little friends he has."

Mallory:
"I know," I sighed.

i kiss her cheek and let go of her leaning on a tree and sliding down to sit down

Mallory:
i sat on his lap.

i laugh slightly and wrap my arms around her waist

'A little too late for modesty, love,' i laughed.

i shrugged "oh well"

Mallory:
i smiled and leaned on him.

"enjoying yourself?" i ask

Mallory:
