Well at least theres that." I say softly. I was worried. Honestly worried. I didn't think I could worry about anything except surviving and my work. But now I was worrying about the boy I created in the basement of our house. It was odd for me. But it felt... good. Feeling something other than the impulse to gain power. I sigh and hit my head against the bars. "and what about Will?"

Mallory:
"It would be good if he left. His love for me... clouds his judgement. He wouldn't think it's a good idea to stay here. He would want to leave to be reunited with Tyler and Reya. It wouldn't protect them, just put them in danger," I sighed.

He doesn't want to be here. Nor do I. I understand protecting the kids. But they aren't completely safe." I say closing my eyes and sighing.

Mallory:
"Safer than if we were with them," I said.

I don't respond this time, I just keep my eyes closed and try to relax

Mallory:
I was on edge, waiting for Will to come back. What were they doing to him?

I watch the door open, seeing will get dragged back into a normail cage this time. "What happened?"

"Temperature test. Sprayed all that gunk off me and triedvto tell if I çould control fire in super cold temperature." He responded shivering violently.

Mallory:
"Can you?" I asked and bit my lip.

Not well. It expelled my body heat when I tried." He says as he slows his breathing down to focus on warming up again. "Sub zero tempurature seems to hurt my heat control."

Mallory:
I winced a little.

Well, hopefulyl they wont take you back to that test." I tell him. He looked like he was getting better now, which was good.

"Your next by the way." he said to me, which caused a scowl on my face. "Read on of their thoughts. There going to put you in extreme isolation. Test your mind"

Mallory:
"What about me? My powers are shot," I said in dismay.

Will
I shake my head and shrug. "I didn't hear anything. I don't know if that's good or bad."

Mallory:
"Oh great," I whispered and pressed my face to my hands.

Im sorry. I tried I tell her tiredly

Mallory:
"It's okay, honey," I said to him.

I nod a little and sigh closing my eyes, trying to relax as well as I could.

James
I had sunken back into my cage subconsciously, worried now that I was going to be put in isolation. Ive read up on tests they used to do to people, put them in a tiny room and cut off the persons senses. I shiver slightly

Mallory:
"Don't let them know they're getting to you, Jake," I said to him.

"im fine." I say calmly looking up at her

Mallory:
"Don't lie to me," I said softly.

Do you know what happens when a person is kept in extreme isolation?" I ask calmly. "I doubt what will meant by what he said meant judt Solitary Confinement."

Mallory:
"Yes, I do. I also know Will and I can keep you sane if you read our thoughts," I said.

I ehale slowly and nod. "alright."

Mallory:
"It will be okay, Jake," I sighed.

I hope so" I say softly
