i made my way back to my room

Velaric:

"It is intriguing, I have to admit surprisingly." I said with a soft chuckle.

I smiled looking at him then turned to watch Will walk away. "Well, what now?"

Velaric:

I shrugged. “You don’t have to stay with me. I can always meet you later after it’s dark.” I said.

"Why? Because my brother and I will be teaching you how to use the elements?" she asked, curiously.

Tabitha:

“Well that. And I just made company, so I’ll be at dance all the time too.” I said chewing on the inside of my lip. “But that doesn’t mean I’ll say no if he asks me!” I said with a small laugh.

"Its not like I have anything else better to do." I said looking at him with a smile

Velaric:

I shrugged again. “Well lets step in here then.” I said nodding to an empty class room. I turned the lights off when I walked in so the only light came from the hallway.

"Darkness.."I said looking at him. "Why am I not suprised." I said looking

Sphinx:

I wandered around outside thinking to myself. I wanted to do something special not only for Velaric my vampire friend but also for Tabitha...

Velaric:

I chuckled and I sat down in a chair. “What do you expect? It’s my nature. Darkness is to me, what water is to a mermaid.”

I nodded looking at him. I smiled a bit and sighed, "So tell me more about your nature." I said with a sly smirk

"I think he should ask you," Adella smiled, seeming to have come at ease to be around Tabitha.

Velaric:

I chuckled softly. “What do you want to know? It’s not like vampires are all that mysterious, they were far too loud in the early years.”

Tabitha:

I giggled and shook my head. “We’ll just have to see. So why don’t we start, you know, trying to work with my useless power?”

"Okay," Adella turned on the water. "Try to make a droplet sepearate from the water."

"I don't want to know about the other vampires. I want to know about you." I said looking at him. "What makes you tick. Your likes your dislikes, anything."

Tabitha:

I focused on the water as hard as I could trying to make it do what she said. After a couple minutes shade hopped up on the counter and started lapping the water.

Velaric:

“I don’t especially like my race. I don’t agree with their way of living. I try to be more normal.” I told her.

Adella giggled. "You have to imagine it seperating form the water and then concentrate on making it happen like it is happening before you do it."

Tabitha:

I tried again screwing my face up in concentration. “Gah! It’s hopeless!” I said sliding down the counter.

"Being normal is so over-rated. Being weird is so much more fun anyway." I said with a grin

"It's NOT hopeless. You just need practice!: Adella smiled.

Velaric:

I smiled. “Depends on what kind of weird you mean.”

Tabitha:

“It just won’t work! It won’t do anything for me!” I complained.

"You just need practice," Adella repeated. "You'll be fine."

"Well, arent we weird at this school?" I asked looking at him

Velaric:

“Yes, I suppose so, notice how there aren’t very many vampires here though? Or any? I haven’t seen a single one.” I said.

Tabitha:

“I’m seventeen! I haven’t had enough practice yet? My little sister is a million times better than I am.” I said glumly.
