Boarding School for the Mythical

Velaric:

I smirked.  "You think I'm what exactly?" 

Tabitha:

I focused on the water as hard as I could.  It bubbled a little.  "Ahhh!  Did you see that!?" I pointed wildly at the water. 

Adella grinned, laughing. "Yeah, i did! How exciting!"

"I think your pretty smooth and sleek." I said looking at him. "You act older then you need to be."

(Bump?)

Velaric:

“Perhaps I just am older than I appear. I have lived through a lot after all.” I said with my eyes still closed.

Tabitha:

“I can almost never do that!” I said then tried to focus again but nothing else would happen.

"See? It's in you. You just have a harder time with that element. How are you with the others?" Adella asked curiously.

"Like what? What kinda stuff have you lived thru?" I asked looking at him.

Tabitha:

“I’m a little better with plants and stuff… But that’s it.” I said with a sigh.

Velaric:

“You don’t really want to know.” I muttered folding my arms above my head on the desk.

"You obviously don't know much about me." I said looking at him. "Then just tell me the one weird thing you've ever done."

Velaric:

I chuckled. “You could use your imagination. I’ve probably done most of what you could think of. I’ve been seventeen for a very long time now. Life gets boring after a while.”

"So you've had ice cream with a purple monkey on mars?" I asked laughing

Velaric:

I laughed. “Well.. Within the realm of possibility.” I amended.

"So Earth is your strong point. It would make sense for water to be the hardest element for you to learn," Adella smiled. "You should try some fire with my brother."

Tabitha:

“Well Earth and water were the only two I managed. I don’t think I can do fire..” I said hesitantly.”

"Water would be hardest if Earth is easiest. So we'd need to use an element closer to home. That would be fire. Air might be a bit of a stretch right now. But if you wanna just work on water before meeting my crazy brother, I'm fine with that," Adella smiled.

Tabitha:

I laughed slightly and smiled. “I think I’d like a break from water for now..”

"Sure thing. Just let me know when you want to try again," Adella said.

Tabitha:

“Okay.” I sat down in the living room area. Shade immediately curled up in my lap. “When do you think I could work with your brother?” I asked.

"Anytime you ask. He's probably by the pool, tanning..or napping," Adella smiled.

"Sure if that works for you." I said looking at him

Tabitha:

“Oh you think I could go there now? I’ve been meaning to look around a bit and that’s on my way.” I said eagerly.


Velaric:

"I love being the center of this conversation and all, but why don’t you tell me something about you?” I asked opening my silver-gray eyes to focus on her again.

"Sure thing, come on," Adella smiled, heading out of the dorm.

Tabitha:

I had to lock my fox in my room to keep him from following then went after Adella.

I looked up at him and blushed a bit. "Me? I'm not all that interesting."

Velaric:

“You’re different. And that’s always interesting to me.” I said. “So come on. I talked about myself. Now it’s your turn.”
