Perfect Assassins

Ebony:

I nodded shyly. "School was different back....where ever I lived. I graduated highschool at 16 and yeah...."

"Sixteen?" Lexi repeated, seeming unable to get past that fact.

Kyle:

“Baby, it’s not uncommon for people to graduate early.” I told her.

Michael:

I had calmed down once the syrum was in my system.

Marie came back once Michael had calmed. “I can take you to your new room now if you’d prefer it to that cot.” She said calmly smiling slightly. Her left arm had a black leather bracelet winding halfway up her arm that hadn’t been there before.

Krissy:

The man took me to another room that was furnished more like a bedroom than a cell. I heard the bolt sliding in the door, locking me in. I searched the entire room and found several hidden mikes but no cameras. I took the bugs into the small attached bath room and dropped then in a sink full of water. Next I crawled under the bed to see if it was welded as well. It was metal but it was pieced together with screws and bolts.

Michael:

I nodded and said softly. "Let me see Krissy." I said my voice passive and neutral. I was already starting to fall into the memories and familiar processes that had become my everyday life.

"Well...I've never heard of people graduating THAT early...What are you going to school for, Eb?" Lexi replied.

“Of course.” She said as she undid the straps that held him. “Follow me. And don’t try wondering off. You’ll only get lost.” She opened the door then started off down the hall glancing at him from time to time. She finnaly stopped and opened a door motioning for him to go in.

Krissy:

I was in the process of trying to loosen a screw with my fingers when I heard the door open. I stopped, holding my breath and pulling my legs in closer so I’d be completely hidden.

Kyle:

I was distracted by the door opening. “I brought back- Oh, people.” Blakely stopped by the door looking Kai and Ebony over.

Michael:

I went in and closed it behind me. I looked around before sitting down on the floor. "Are you going to stay under there all day?" I asked softly.

Krissy:

I drew in a sharp breath. “Michael? What are you doing here? What’s going on?” I asked pulling myself halfway out from under the bed and looking around to makesude no one else was in the room.

Michael:

"I'm alone, but more than likely there is a guard out in the hall, so stay quiet. I bet you have already gotten rid of the mics so I'm not worried." I said before holding my arms out to her.

Krissy:

I pulled myself fully out from under the bed and immediately went to him winding my arms around him tightly. “Do you know what’s going on? Why we’re here?”

Michael:

I let out a soft breath. "I'm going to have to go back to what I once was. I am going to be a weapon again." I said softly to her.

Krissy:

“What? Why?” I asked looking at him. “You can’t...”

Michael:

"I have too, its either that or they kill you." I said softly. "I wont risk your life. I am going to do it and I am going to set you free. Your aunt would do anything to have me."

Krissy:

I was going to protest until he said ‘your aunt’. “Wait… My aunt? Marie? Marie did this?”

I nodded. "Yes." I said softly kissing her cheek.

"Blakely, this is my twin sister, Ebony. And this is our old friend Kai. He traveled with us before we ran into you," Lexi explained.

Krissy:

I was quiet for a long moment thinking it over and scowling. “But that’s blackmail. She can’t do that. You don’t have to listen to her.”

Kyle:

“Before me? Honey, I knew them way before even you did.” He answered. I rolled my eyes as he looked Ebony over. “Twin sister?”

Ebony:

I blinked and shifted in place before nodding. "I have a hard time believing it...but yeah."

Lexi smiled and gently touched Ebony's arm. "So what are you going to college for?"

Michael:

I kissed her softly. "I dont care, I will still make sure you stay safe."

Ebony

"Computer defense mostly." I admitted.

Lexi nodded. "Makes sense."

Ebony:

"That and mechanical." I finished smiling shyly.

Krissy:

“She won’t kill me, you know.” I said confidently, leaning against him. I didn’t honestly doubt for an instant that she would care if I died as long as it served her. But he didn’t need to know that. I didn’t want to be the reason he changed.

Kyle:

Blakely finished his appraisal of Ebony. “Neat. Kyle, can I talk to you for a sec?” He asked quietly. I frowned and nodded stepping back away from Lexi and the others.
