Perfect Assassins

Ally:

I continued my run, making sure to keep my breathing even and regular. The last thing I needed was to pass out and have to go to the hospital again.

I look at james who shrugged. I shrug as well and follow them, carrying our stuff

Krissy:

Later sitting in the back of the car Kyle had "borrowed" Eric leaned in a whispered, "Is she actually nuts or just screwing with me?"  I shrugged.  "Probably."  I muttered glancing at the back of Lexi's head.  I watched out the window as we drove, he had gone by miles and miles of nothing but wide open desert.  He had hardly passed anyone at all on the road.  I was actually starting to get optimistic about this house.  May e it would be safe there. finally.  

James and i were following them in our car

Lexi hummed to herself, looking out the window, trying to be quiet so she wouldn't annoy Kyle. It was awfully quiet in the car...more quiet than she liked.

I went back to jogging, working on trying to keep my breathing regular.

Krissy:

I sighed and squirmed in my seat we had been driving for so long...  Eventually with what seemed like many hours we turned down a dirt road, or sand rather,  at the end there was a huge house with reflective windows.  Eric whistled.  I hadn't been expecting it to be this big.  And it was so far away from anything.  "This is great."  I said softly as I got out of the car to get a better look.  Again I had to roll my sleeves up from the heat.  

Kyle:

I smiled.  "Its got a great security system, you can't get within a mile of this place without us knowing."  I explained.

"It sounds so perfect," Lexi said wistfully, wondering if she'd be able to turn off the security system long enough for her to sneak out and bring back Ebony.

Ebony:

Arriving home I packed my stuff. I had planned to leave this weekend for a camping trip by myself but I figured now would be a perfect time. Once I had my pack ready, I packed a cooler full of food and a few other things before heading out to my truck. I climbed in after stowing the things in the back and took off.

We pulled up beside them and get out of the car looking at the house. "nice place."

Krissy:

“What if someone tampers with the system?” I asked. “If someone cuts it from outside the alarm will go off. It can only be controlled from the inside.” Kyle answered. “Sweet, can we go in now? It’s hot.” Eric said impatiently. Kyle handed me a key and I walked up to the door to unlock it. It was wide open inside, you could see the desert for miles through the glass walls. There was a metal staircase going up the second floor. It reminded me of my childhood home, very modern and kind of a cold feel to it.
“Check it out.” Eric had gone over to what looked like a trap door under the staircase. I followed him down another set of steps into an underground gym, with a shooting range, and targets. I sucked in a breath. It reminded me of What Marie had, it was nearly the same.. “Kyle?” I called leaving Eric to explore on his own. I hurried up the stairs. “How did you get this? Who did you call?” I demanded.

Kyle:

I had just walked into the house, surprised by the coldness in Krissy’s tone. “Who do you think I called? It’s not a big deal, Krissy.” I shrugged it off. “Kris specializes in this kind of thing. You know that.” I said confused by her attitude.

Eric:

I walked out from the gym. “This place is actually pretty cool.” I told Kyle, then Noticed Krissy with her arms crossed tightly. “I think I’m going to be sick.” She muttered, backing up against the wall. “What did you say to her?”I asked Kyle accusingly. “Nothing, I don’t get it.”

James
"Whats wrong?" i asked walking in, i only heard part of the conversation, "You ok Krissy?" i asked with an eyebrow raised. Will hung back grabbign some things out of the car.

Lexi was distracted by the security system, noting every single camera, motion sensor, and/or infared laser beams. She needed to know their every location in case she needed to get by without them catching her. It was then she noticed Krissy's distress but she knew better than to ask. "Come on," she said to the others. "Give her some air. Kris, let's head upstairs and wash up in the bathroom, okay?"

Krissy:

I sighed. “Okay.” I said but the whole house bothered me now, knowing where it had come from and the similarities with what Marie had. I let Lexi take me upstairs while looking over my shoulder at the others.

Lexi led Krissy into the bathroom in one of the bedrooms. "Better?" she asked, handing Krissy a towel to wipe her face with.

James
I looked over at Kyle questioningly, "what was that about?"

Krissy:

I covered my face with the towel and moaned before taking a deep breath. “I need to call Kris, or Aalen. They supply for Marie, I’m sure of it.”

Kyle:

I shrugged. “Who knows she’s been acting weird since we got her back.” I told him then grinned. “You saw the basement?” I asked Eric who was watching after the girls. He turned to me. “Yeah though I wouldn’t call it a basement. It’s awesome.” I motioned for James and Will to follow forgetting that I didn’t care much about any of them.

"Not right now. You need to calm down first..." Lexi instructed, having Krissy sit on the edge of the tub. "Then you can call them."

Will and I followed Kyle into the basement

Krissy:

“I’m calm.” I snapped, looking at her over the towel. “I need to call Kris, if he is working with Marie then Marie could know where we are.” I shuddered at the thought. “I need to make sure he’s not going to give us away.”

"Okay..." Lexi sighed, knowing she wasn't goign to be able to argue with her so she just handed Krissy her cell phone.

I took this about two weeks ago, I think it was.

Ally:

I headed out into the desert and then went rock crawling with my jeep. Once I was far enough out I parked and stopped the car. I got out and looked around smiling, before heading back towards the back of the car so I could grab some things. But on the way there I tripped over a small wire. Kneeling down I touched it only to have a shock run through me. I pulled my hand away letting out a yelp of pain.

Lexi frowned when she heard a beep. She held up a finger at Krissy, letting her know she'd be right back, before she turned around and followed the sound of a beep. She consulted a panel on the wall where all the lights were green except one flashing red light. Lex frowned again but took note of the number on the map of the property next to it. She left the house through the backway and headed over to where the alarm was set off and she stopped, seeing Ebony... "EBONY?!" she yelled, running over as fast as she could.
