Perfect Assassins

Kyle:

“I wasn’t ‘bringing you down’! I was just saying.. You know Jake and your dad were rotten. We don’t know about Ebony, She doesn’t even know who she is! I’m not saying she’s bad… We just don’t know yet do we?” I leaned against the wall with my arms crossed watching her.

Lexi was quiet for a moment, obviously struggling inwardly by the way she clenched and unclenched her fists. "No...we don't know..." she whispered, closing her eyes and forcing herself to breathe normally.

Ally:

I held onto my head, wishing I had something with me so I could protect myself. They acted like they knew me but...couldn't they just be pretending...

Kyle:

“I’m sorry I upset you.” I said calmly offering my arms out to hug her but staying where I was.

Lexi stepped forward and leaned into him, letting him hug her but she didn't hug him back. She realized that for as long as she could remember, this was only really the third time he had ever apologized and really meant it.

He apologized right after she tried to commit suicide on that balcony, he apologized for arguing with Will after he rescued her from Hione, then he just apologized...

Kyle:

I sighed and held her close putting my hand on the back of her head. “I don’t want anything to hurt you, ever. I don’t want what happened with your father and with Jake to happen again.” I said softly. “I don’t want Ebony to turn out like them.”

"I know...You just want to protect me...But you don't have to say something like that..." Lexi whispered slowly wrapping her arms around him.

Kyle:

“I honestly wasn’t thinking when I said it. I didn’t know you would get upset.” I told her stroking her hair absently.

You do tend to get upset for no apparent reason... Rose mused in her head and Lexi couldn't help but scoff at her. Like you're one to talk.

"I'm sorry for freaking out. I'm just...stressed," Lexi sighed.

Kyle:

“I know.” I kissed the top of her head. “That was one reason for coming here. I feel like everyone needs a fresh breath.” I said. And by everyone, I really only meant Krissy, Lexi, and myself.

Ally:

I left the room and was hugging myself as I wandered the house nervously. Eventually I found the basement and the armory. I grabbed myself a few knives and held them in clenched hands, before my body relaxed and I held them at ease. It confused me that I could do this.

Lexi breathed in and pulled away enough to look into his eyes. "I love you. You know that, right?"

Kyle:

“I know.” I said softly. “And I love you too, more than anything.”

((Kyles feelings entertain me. Ebony is just a shorter blonde version of Lexi.))

Lexi smiled and gently kissed his lips.

((Can we just skip to that evening when Krissy and Eric get back?))

Kyle:

I heard the front door open and went to the living room to make sure it was Krissy. I froze when I saw her. “What happened to you?” I demanded. “She sighed and set a bag down on the couch with Eric walking in behind her. “Your hair..” I said, my mouth slightly open. “Yes Kyle I got my hair cut.” She said dismissively. “What is that?” I couldn’t stop staring at her. “What Kyle?! It’s clothes, okay? Jesus. I just got new clothes and my hair cut, it’s not like I’ve changed into a different person. You can stop looking at me like that!” She snapped. She looked so different. It was disorienting. She had worn the same shades and style since she was about thirteen. Now she was wearing Red? Dark read albeit, but still. It wasn’t plain either, it was multi colored. Krissy was wearing an actual design, with a stylish jacked and boots and her hair was shorter and… It was just too much.

Lexi got up from her place on the couch and followed Kyle when she heard voices and frowned, seeing Krissy. "Who are...krissy?" she asked, sounding surprised. "What...?"

Will
I was in the room reading when i heard Kyle throwing a fit. I look up and over at Krissy, "I for one think it looks nice. He all need to change our apearance once in a while. Helps us not be noticed as easily." i say in her defense and go back to my book.

Krissy:

I sighed softly. “Thanks Will.” I said appreciatively. I felt awkward in the new clothes. They weren’t tight fitting like I always wore, they weren’t the colors I liked. I felt uncomfortable. But Eric had thought it was a good idea. “Yeah, I think she looks way better.” Eric said moving to my side. I glanced up at him before looking back at Kyle who was trying to look less surprised. He walked over to me. “Yeah, you’re right. She does look good.” He said. I smiled slightly.

"You do but...it's not...you," Lexi replied, frowning. "You hate red. And it's just...odd. It doesn't look bad or anything but it's just...odd."

"I can agree with that." i said with a shrug. I set my books down and stand up, "so where did you two head off to? or is that private?" i asked politely heading to the kitchen

Ally:

I heard voices and leaving behind one of the knives, I hugged the other to me and walked into the living room nervously.

Krissy:

“I like red.. I thought it was time for a change..” I said quietly. “You weren’t kidding when you said they’d notice.” Eric muttered. “What’s the real problem doll? You jealous you don’t look as good?” Eric asked Lexi condescendingly. Kyle instantly scowled at him. “Do not call her that.” He hissed. I rolled my eyes and grabbed a bag. “I got something for you.” I said holding it out to Lexi. It was a pretty dress, it seemed like she had been wearing them more. It was something I couldn’t pull off, I didn’t have enough curves. “We went shopping Will.” I told him after giving it to Lexi.
