Perfect Assassins

Jack:

I shook my head. "No can do. Not only is there no fun in that but, it would just make things worse once you did."

"That's what worries me..." Lexi whispered. "I'm not scared of what he'll do to me. I've been through hell and back three times but if he hurt Kyle or Krissy..." She shook her head. "I'd let Rose take over. Forever. I'd just lose the will to live."

Krissy:

I made a face at him. “Jack, is your boss going to give us trouble?” I asked.

Eric:

“I think they’re going to be fine. You ever seen anyone try to kill them? Has anyone ever succeeded? They are good at what they do.” I said, and I meant it. Even if I didn’t like Kyle, I still respected him.

Kyle:

I moved away from the others to go find Lexi. It was clear that Jack wasn’t going to give an answer, and Krissy would probably continue pressing him until she got distracted by something else. I walked into the kitchen and scowled at Eric. “What are you doing Blakely?” I demanded going over behind Lexi. “Making out with your girlfriend, what does it look like?” He shot back as he stood up.

Ally:

I stayed hidden watching everyone I could. I didn't know what I would even say to anyone so I wanted to make sure I was out of sight.

Jack:

I relaxed back into the couch and closed my eyes.

"Um...ew? Don't you think I'd be throwing up if he tried to kiss me?" Lexi replied, managing a small smile for Kyle.

Kyle:

I took Lexi’s hand and pulled her up before winding my arm around her waist protectively. “I trust you.” I said then scowled at Eric. He held his hands up in defense and grinned. “We were actually just talking. Being all civilized like, ya know.” He said.

Krissy:

“Jack.” I said and nudged his arm. “You need to tell me. Are we in danger from the man you work for?” I asked staring at him intently.

Jack:

I got to my feet. "Now that your cheered up, time to go to work on Lexi." I said grinning as I picked up the bag.

Krissy:

I blinked at him then frowned. “No.. Jack, you’re not answering me.” I complained and I got up to follow him.

Jack:

I winked at Krissy over my shoulder. "Well, I cant spoil all of my fun."

Lexi managed a small smile. "We did manage to have a conversation without injuring each other of having Rose come out..."

Krissy:

“Ugh.” I said and snatched up a sofa pillow to toss at the back of his head.

Kyle:

“Astonishing.” I said dully.

Lexi poked Kyle in the tummy, trying to make him smile, at least a little bit.

Kyle:

Eric rolled his eyes and made to leave the kitchen. “Look what Jack gave me.” I said holding the gun out in front of her.

"Wow.... That's beautiful...." Lexi whispered, taking the gun in her hands. It was perfect for Kyle. A bit too big for her but perfect for him. "It suits you."

Kyle:

I smiled down at her and touched her cheek softly. “Are you okay? I’m sorry I had to go after Krissy. I didn’t want her to get herself hurt.. But you seemed like there was something wrong.”

"It's...it's Jake...He's alive and..." Lexi whispered and stopped, taking a deep breath. "I think he wants to finish the job."

Kyle:

I stomach twisted and I held her a little closer. “Well he’s not going to.” I said firmly. Damn Krissy.. This was just another example of where she fell just short of doing the right thing. She should have killed him.. I shouldn’t have left her alone with him..

Jack:

I dangled a gun in front of Lexi's face. It was a smaller versions of Kyles, but it had engravings much like Krissy's knife.

Lexi gasped and took the gun, turning it over in hands. "It's...gorgeous..." then she smiled wickedly, her voice changing. "Oh yes. This'll come in handy when Jake shows up." then it switched back to normal and she grinned, looking up at Kyle then turned to Jack. "Thank you so much."

Jake:

I bowed. "I'm here to serve. If I had known what the others liked I would have gotten more things."

James
I looked over at Jack, "all those weapons must have cost a fortune." i say absent mindedly getting some food for myself and sitting down. "So, why are you worried about your brother at the moment, As far as i can tell he wont be able to get in. Theres always exceptions, like Him" i say pointing at Jack for a second.

Kyle:

I sighed. "Jack is always the exception." I said as I reholstered my new gun my arm still around Lexi.

((*Grins* Jack is the exception to every rule.))

Jack

I laughed and leaned against the wall, watching in amusement. My phone ringing made me pause and I pulled it out, answering it in a smooth lazy motion.

Lexi admired her gun before slipping it into her pocket and grinning up at Kyle.

Eric:

I went to the living room and found curled up on the couch. “Are you going to come eat breakfast?” I asked leaning over the back of the sofa. She looked up with her stunning green eyes. “You know I’m not hungry, and you know I can’t eat right now.” She said with a ribbon of ice in her tone. I made the mistake of glancing down to see what she was fidgeting. She was repetitively twisting the ring around her finger with her thumb. When I looked back to her face her eyes were challenging me to say something. “Fine.” I went around and flopped down next to her.

Krissy:

I blinked in surprise. “What are you doing?” I asked. “What does it look like?” He shrugged. “You said you were hungry this morning though.. You haven’t eaten..” “Neither have you. As long as you’re going to starve yourself, so am I.” He countered. I bit my lip, I didn’t want him to do that. “But you need to eat more than I do.” I said after a moment. “No, Krissy, you realize you need to start thinking about the-“ “Shut up.” I glared at him and shifted away, crossing my arms over my stomach. “Starve then.” I snapped.

Kyle:

My lips quirked up and I leaned down to plant a kiss on Lexi’s mouth, my other arm winding around her to pull her body against mine.
