Naveen

Maleen:

I rocked back on my heels from the impact but didn’t fall over. My arms went around her waist to steady her. I realized that she was new to this world and was practically a baby to human-like ways.

Wren:

I had to hold onto her while I slowly learned how to use my legs properly. Something I had not expected to have a problem with. I frowned a little, before hesitantly letting go of her so I could take a few slow, unsteady steps away before moving back the same way with a bit more confidence.

Maleen:

I watched her carefully, my arms slightly held out to her in case she fell or needed support. “Come on.” A hand flitted across my back to urge me along and thus hurry the other girl. I glanced over to my captor standing close to me waiting for us to make it in side.

I moved slowly, stumbling a few times on the way inside, feeling drained and tired from just this little bit of effort. My human body was a whole lot weaker than what I expected it to be.

Rina:

I walked behind the girls while a maid showed us the room. It was small, but it would work for the night. I was a little anxious about having the witch around people, but so far no one had recognized her for what she was. I knelt by the fire place to build up the small fire.

I paced the room, getting more used to working the muscles. I was getting it done faster than I expected, while I couldn't walk with any sort of grace. I could move without falling or stumbling.

Rina:

I stood and watched the girl pace before stepping up in front of her, causing her to stop. “The elf said your name was Wren?” I asked expectantly.

I nearly fell into this girl, blinking as I looked at the other girl for a moment. "Wen?" I managed out after a moment.

((Is that supposed to be Wen, Wren, or When? =P))

((She is learning how to be human =P An...imperfect body over the perfect one she had in heaven. As your witch put it, she is like a baby, just starting to learn. Though she learns and develops much, much, much more quickly. She only knows the language of the heavens, though she doesn't know how to speak much of it at the moment. English is new to her.))

((So she was trying to say Wren.))

Rina:

My eyes narrowed slightly. “Yes.. Is it not?” I asked, my eyes scrutinizing her.

Maleen:

I watched the two from my spot on one of the beds.

I looked at her not sure what she was saying. I glanced at the other girl, Maleen she had said. Before bringing my eyes back to the the girl in front of me.

Rina:

Great, a witch and a confused girl. I had exelent luck with traveling companions. “Well, I have something you could wear if you’d like to get out of this.” I tugged lightly at the tattered sleeve of what she was wearing.

Wren:

I glanced down at my clothes, just now noticing what I was wearing and how many holes and tears were in it. I had worn things that showed more skin in Heaven, but that was okay. It wasn't like people couldn't just divine exactly what you looked like anyway.

Rina:

I pulled from my small bag a tunic with a belt and a pair of leggings. I offered them to her and nodded to the wooden screen in the corner of the room for changing.

I looked at the clothing, nodding slowly before making my way behind the screen. It took all of my concentration to actively get undressed and put on the clothes. As it was it took me twice as long as it would take a normal person to do.

Maleen:

My eyes trailed Wren as she went to the screen. “And yours?” My captor asked. I turned to look at her. “Excuse me?” I asked softly. “Your name?” “Oh.. Maleen.” I told her in a near whisper. She nodded turning away fro a moment then looking back to me. “My name is Rina.” She said, her eyes searching mine as if I was going to accuse her of something. I gave her a tentative smile.

Once I was finally finished I stepped out, my hands clasped behind me as I looked at the two of them. I had no idea what they were saying to each other but they seemed to be getting along which made me happy.

Rina:

I pulled the cot from against the wall and set it up. “Who wants to sleep here?” I asked looking up at the two girls. After a moment Maleen volunteered. She stood up from her seat on the bed to move to the cot. Her gray dress swished around her as she walked. “Get some sleep. We have a long way to travel tomorrow.” I said gesturing the other bed to Wren.

I glanced at the bed for a moment before sitting down on it, becoming fascinated by the feel of the sheet under my hand. It was a new texture, and it interested me.

Rina:

I removed my weapons belt before climbing in bed. Aero and Iris fluttered to perch on the bed post to watch over me while I slept. I settled in. I had never been a heavy sleeper, but I slept well, especially knowing that Aero or Iris would give an alarm if something were going to harm me.

Maleen:

I settled into the cot. I was still tired despite having slept half the day away. I hugged my pillow and listened to the sound of the heavy rain hitting the roof.

It was the rain and the exhaustion of the crash to this world that eventually had me fall asleep, on top of the blankets, not noticing the cold, though my body could feel it.

Maleen:

I was vaguely aware of someone padding around the room. My eyes opened to slits and I could see a shape backlit by the dying embers of the fireplace. Sleep dragged me under again before I could focus.
The sound of the door creaking open startled me awake. Blinking blearily, I sat up on my elbows to see Rina walk in. She was fully dressed and her boots were caked with mud. “Come on, we have to go now.” She said. There was urgency in her tone. She crossed the room to peak out the shudders over the window. I swung my legs off the side of the cot and stretched tall.

Wren:

I sat up sleepily, not sure what was happening or why. I yawned sleepily, stretching absently as I my eyes roamed over my two companions absently.
