All Hope Is Gone (open)

Ellie:
Laurie nodded and sighed.

I head down to the kitchen so i can start cooking

Lauren:
I went with Dad as Mom went to Aunt Taylor's room.

Taylor
I was walking around the room cleaning up

Will
"what do you want for dinner Laurie?" i ask her

Laurie:
I shrugged.


Ellie:
I looked at her.

I hate it when the house is this quiet. It's like it's dead" I say making some noodles for chicken and noodles

Taylor
"Yes?"

Laurie:
"Funny you would use those choice of words," I muttered.


Ellie:
"Nothing. How have things been around here?" I asked her. "How is your kid?"

What's that supposed to mean?" I ask frowning, thawing the chicken

Taylor
He is fine. It's been fine around here." I say smiling a little bit. "What about you will and the kids?"

Ellie:
"Lilith went back to Hell... I fear she might fulfill the prophecy," I said softly.


Laurie:
"We're all going to die," I said, looking at him.

Not completely... She'd have to kill will too. If she went to hell she might skip over will... Hopefully anyway" I say sighing a little

Will
No. We won't" I say frowning and setting the food on the burner to cook. I lean against the counter rubbing my eyes and thinking

Ellie:
"The only father she's known was Dante. I can only hope its him and not Will. And god help her if she hurts my kids," I said softly. I did not consider her my child, not in the slightest. She was just a monster. Even at three, I knew that.


Laurie:
"You don't believe that," I said to him and crossed my arms. "She's going to kill us all."

She won't hurt any of you. I'm going to make sure of that." I say looking at her intently, and sigh pinching the bridge of my nose and breathing slowly. "So yes. I do believe it."

Taylor
"If she is as horrible as you say then we have no hope. We will just be in another war for our lives." I say sighing. "Will won't let anyone hurt you or the kids until they rip him apart. But the problem is he will go fight her. He wants the throne. He told me that a long time ago. He isn't a tyrant. But he wants his birthright"

Laurie:
"She'll hurt you. And I can't go on the rest of my life without a father," I said to him.


Ellie:
"If he dies, I will be hurt. It's just as if you lost Callum again. Lilith is a monster and the only love she has is for me. Problem is, I don't think I can stop her," I said and ran a hand through my hair.

I'm not going to die. Not anytime soon" i mutter finishing the food

Taylor
I don't think she would immidiatly attack you if you strike against her... She would hesitate. You just need one good strike to the heart, with a demon blade or a seraph blade. Maybe both." I say looking at her

Ellie:
"I'll try for both," I sighed and walked into the kitchen. I ruffled Lauren's short red hair and kissed Will's cheek. "You guys okay?" I felt the tension in the room.

"Peachy" I say kissing her cheek back and fixing plates for everyone

Ellie:
"He doesn't want to admit we have a 25% chance of winning now that Lilith - that little tyrant - is alive," Lauren said vehemently. I flinched a little.
"She won't win, nor will she kill anyone. You can be sure of that," I said to her.

I listened to her outburst silently, setting the food on the table. "You know no more than I do of what Lilith is truly capable of. Maybe we have more of a chance than you think. All I know is I don't pay attention to chances often, you give yourself a low chance and it psych's you out." I say rubbing my temples. "That's something you need to learn about war like this. You guys go ahead and eat. I'm not hungry." I say leaving the room, heading outside

Ellie:
"Lauren... just don't," I said softly and walked past her. I followed Will and sat next to him. "She's just a hot-head kid."

Yeah I know she is. But it will get her killed in a fight. Ive had my fair share of fuck ups. You know that. im just trying to keep her from hurting herself like I have." I say, looking out in the field blankly. I catch site of a horsefly zooming around and I killed it with my pain influence, a power I havnt really worked on recently. "I need to train if this upcoming fight will be my last."

Ellie:
"It won't be. We need to kill Lilith," I said to him and hugged him tightly. "I just got back. I don't want to lose you ever again. I've lost you too many times."

I hug her back tight as well sighing tiredly. "I know, hon, I know." I kiss her temple softly and sigh

Ellie:
I kissed him softly and smiled. I smoothed his hair. Thomas came out and sat in front of us.
"Hey, dad, can I take Lauren out to blow off steam? She seems anxious," he said to Will.

"Yeah, we all are." I say running a hand through my hair and sigh nodding. "yeah go ahead. Dont go to far. I don't know when dante or something will attack us"

Ellie:
"Have fun," I smiled a little. Thomas kissed my cheek and nodded then went to get Lauren.
