school for the gifted (open/multi)

I grinned a little, quickly pulling my arms and legs close together so they all hit heads.

as the duplicates hit their heads together the one in front put his sword to her throat "check mate" he said.

I tilted my head back a little, growling slightly.

"you are going against one of the royal guards so don't feel bad" I said walking up to them ",has she lasted all this time?" I asked.
"yes my lady" the guard said.
"hmmm" I muttered thinking.

"Ma'am? Can they let me go now?" I asked, no longer struggling.

"what is the point of training if you do not learn anything" I said snapping my fingers and the guard nodded taking his sword in hand again.

I relaxed a little. "I did learn not to think so highly of yourself while going up against an unknown apponent."

"show respect for those older then you" I said sitting on the ground as some staff came in and put lunch for us on the ground "come on guys, got food to get some energy back into those frail and aging bodies of yours" I smiled.

I sat with Caleb, remaining silent.

I finished eating and got up "now switch weapons and training everyone" I said.

Caleb and i switched spots with eachother.

I watched everyone train and smiled "they are doing well my lady" the captain of the guards said and I smiled.
"I know, I think for ones they are all keepers" I said.

I continued to train with one of the guards, not getting tired.

"that girl....she seems to know what she is doing" the captain said. ",finish her off! your being to soft on the trainee!" the guards started fighting them as if they were fighting a real enemy instead of training now.
"I need them alive you know, a group of dead guards is useless to me even for drinking" I said.

I narrowed my eyes, dodging his attacks. Caleb on the other hand, got hit a few times.

"kill them if you must! we don't need weakling here!" the captain yelled.

I continued to fight hard, soon knocking out my guard, but another one soon replaced him.

the captain of the guards walked up "stop making this easy for her!" he yelled kicking her from behind, she went through the wall with the guard that had taken the old ones place. ",that is how you train people!"

I looked back, glaring at the captain. "If you don't think they're doing it right, then why dont YOU train me?" I growled, getting to my feet.

"as you wish" he said standing still and waiting for her ",lets see what your made of....mortal, I will show you the power of the vampire"

I walked over to him, sighing. "You do not frighten me."

he smiled "that is a shame, blood is so much better with a hint of fear" the captain said as his eyes started to glow red and charged at her breaking the ground every time he took a step.
"if anything else but the ground breaks I am stepping in" I thought.

I jumped back from him, seeing the ground break.

"are you afraid of me now? how pathetic" he said with a grin as I jumped up and picked him through the floor and down fife hundred feet until he landed on the marble floor.
"get back to your job" I growled jumping back up and landing beside the hole ",sorry about that....are you okay?"

I did not answer, looking blankly up at the hole above me.
