Why Me? (reserved)

I held her close rubbing her arms lightly

I slept peacefully.

I stayed up watching her but ended up drifting off to sleep.

I slept until sun started coming through the windows.

I was leaning back keeping my arms around her as I slept silently.

My eyes fluttered open, looking up at him slightly. I blushed softly, beginning to smile. I adjusted myself, kissing his cheek softly to wake him.

I opened my eyes looking at her. I smiled and kissed her cheek. "Morning."

"Morning." I smiled, kissing him softly.

I smiled and kissed her. "Well. If we travel fast we should reach the center city and your parents castle."

I nodded a little, getting up.

I got up and grabbed my bag and held her hand gently.

I got my cloak back on, stretching. "Ready?" I asked.

I nodded and walked out with her. I got the horse and helped her on before I lead the horse out of the city.

I held on, looking around.

I passed all of the shops. There were cute flower shops. I smiled seeing a beautiful red rose that complemented her skin tone. I quick stopped and bought it before I gave it to her.

I sniffed it and smiled, shutting my eyes. "Thank you, it's so beautiful..." I kissed his cheek, placing the rose in my hair.

I smiled and once out of the city I swung up behind her and wrapped my arms around her.

I leaned back against him slightly as we rode, my eyes shut.

I smiled and held her close as we road. We went through three more cities. Everyone rather friendly. As we were once again on the road I watched her. "We will get a room once we get to the city. I want to know what you think about your parents. Do... Do you want to meet them?" I asked looking at her

"I...I'm scared..." I said softly, hanging my head. "I shouldn't be, but I am..."

I held her. "Its okay. I understand." I said rubbing her arms lightly.

"I'll do it..." I said softly, looking at his hands on my arms.

I smiled and kissed her cheek. "I'm glad." I said holding her gently.

I nodded a little, biting my lip. "If i do choose to come back here and take the throne, I appoint someone as my knight, correct?" I asked softly.

I nodded. "Yes. You can have anything and anyone you want." I said looking at her.
