Why Me? (reserved)

I smiled and took her into a restraint making sure she had her cloak with her.

I went into the bathroom and changed into the dress, putting the cloak on over it. I braided my bangs back but left my hair down.

I waited patiently for her.

I walked back out, keeping my hood up.

I smiled and gently lead her out. I walked with her to the gate. I told the guards our story and they let us in right away.

I kept my head down, growing more and more nervous. I started to feel sick, but I knew nothing would happen. Just an upset stomach from nerves.

I gently held her as they showed us inside. They lead us threw beautifully polished halls to a room where they told us to wait. I smiled at her and gently took the cloak off her. "Your stunning." I said gently cupping her face.

"Thank you..." I blushed softly.

I smiled and gently kissed her than stepped back as the door opened and we were ussured into the throne room. A man stood in front of the throne a golden crown on his head. His hair was the same shade that adas was. He looked at her mouth open his face worn from stress and worry.

I frowned, looking at the man i guessed was my father. "H-hello..." I said softly, holding onto Blake's arm a little tighter.

I stood at attention. The man came down. Behind the throne a painting could be seen. It was of a younger verson of the man before us and a older looking version of adia (am I spelling that right?). He gently looked over her. "You... You are my daughter.." He said. His voice was raspy and it cracked as he was on the verge of tears.

I nodded slightly, not knowing what to say. I was scared.

I looked down at her. The king smiled. "My little Aida. You look just like your mother." He said hugging her tight.I smiled gently

I hugged him back, shaking slightly. This was my real dad, and I just couldn't believe it. "I..."

He smiled and stepped back. "Yes?" He asked gently. I kept my face blank while in his line of sight.

"I don't know what to say..." I frowned slightly. "I should be saying more, but I just don't know what."

He smiled. "Its alright. I'm glad that my wild card would find you." He said. "How did he do it?"

"I don't know, one day he confronted me while I was on my way home" I said softly, glancing at Blake. "But I'm glad he did find me..." I hid my blush.

I gave a small smile. The king nodded. "I'm glad he did too."

I nodded, hugging him still.

He smiled. "Are you going to stay?" He asked smiling

I bit my lip, looking away. "I-I'm not sure yet." I frowned. "I'm sorry if I disappoint you..."

"No. Its alright." He said. "I know this must come as a large stress surprise" he said.

I nodded a little, looking back up at him. "I would love to stay here, but I'm too connected to there..."

He nodded. "I understand." He said looking down.
