"I just need time to decide, father..." I said softly.

He nodded. "I know. I just miss having someone else with me." He said. I looked at him.

I frowned, looking up at him. "W-what happened to my mother...?" I asked softly.

He sighed. "A few years ago she got very sick. She struggled for two months before she rested finally. I know she is in a better place." He said.

"I'm sorry for asking father." I frowned.

"I just wish you could have known her. She was always so excited to see you again."

"I'm sorry" my voice quivered on the vurge of tears.

"Its not your fault. You needed to be taken to safty. Wherever that ended up being. She was happy to know that one day I would see you."

I nodded, rubbing my eyes.

I wanted to hug her but I didn't think the king would want that at this moment. "Well why don't you stay here for a while?" He asked her.

"I would be glad to, as long as Blake may stay as well." I asked softly. "He has helped me get here"

I smiled politely. "He may stay as long as he wishes." Her father said

"Thank you"

He nodded. "My servant will show you to your room." He said a young man stood back by the door stepping forward when he was talked about.

I nodded and bowed to my father, turning to the servant.

He bowed than headed out showing them the way. I bowed to the king than followed her. I gently wrapped my arm around her once the door closed

I leaned against him as we walked, looking up at him. "Why were you afraid to be near me with my father...?" I asked softly.

"I don't know how protective he is you know? I don't want to make him upset when we just got here." I said.

I nodded a little, frowning.

"I'm sorry. I just... Your father never had a lot of faith in me." I said. "He thought that his lead knight would be the one to find you."

"Well, you proved him wrong." I said.

I smiled. "Good thing too. You would hate him." I said smirking.

I laughed lightly, shaking my head.

I smiled. The servant stopped at a beautifully decorated doors. They were wooden with carefully cared details of a forest and beautiful creatures.

I gently ran my fingers over the doors, my eyes wide. they were beautiful...
