Why Me? (reserved)

I had a grim look on my face and the king was talking to other servants. He saw her and went to her. "Are you ready to go my dear?"

"Yes Blake..." I said softly, frowninf at his expression.

"I just want you to be safe." I said looking at her gently toutching her face.

I leaned my head against his hand, shutting my eyes. "And I want you safe with me..."

I smiled and hugged her close to me. "I will make sure that you are safe." I said softly

I hugged him back, my eyes still shut.

I held her close. Her father came to us. "We need to go." He said.

I nodded, looking up at him.

I gently held her hand as we as a small group headed down to the cellar where a small hidden entrance waited one by one we went in. I let her go in first before I followed. On the other side was a small cave like holding area. I held her close when we got there.

I held his hand tightly, looking around. I felt the cold damp air of the cave against my skin.

I held her close to me gently kissing the top of her head. The king looked at us and nodded at me. I closed my eyes. I reached into my pocket and pulled out a small teleportation portal I tossed it at the wall and a portal opened. I gently looked at her face. "Your so beautiful. And I love you so much." I said.

"Blake- what are you doing?" I asked, seeing the portal. My eyes were wide, looking up at him.

I smiled sadly. "I'm protecting you." I said moving and kissing her gently. I than pushed her through the portal than I closed it. It would put her back in the park in the other world.

"No!" I screamed when he pushed me. I fell as I watched the portal close, tears welling up in my eyes. "No..." I whimpered, beginning to cry.

The park was pretty empty and the people that were around didn't see her fall through the portal.

I stayed on my knees, just crying. "why did you so that?" I cried, my arms wrapped around my shoulders.

A couple was passing by. They stopped and the woman knelt down. "Are you okay? Do you need help?"

"I-I'm alright, I promise. I-i just need some time." I said softly through tears, not looking up at them.

They nodded and left. Everyone else just continued about their day.

I rubbing my eyes, getting to my feet. I didn't want to go home to my parents, I wanted to go back to Ildris. I needed to go back to Blake. I sniffled and walked a little closer to the woods next to the park, finding a tree with low branches to climb.

The birds chirped and the animals ran about. A squirrel sat in the tree watching her curiously.

I climbed up a few branches so I couldn't be seen easily. I soon carried on crying softly, shaking my shoulders. "Damn you, Blake..." I whispered to myself, rubbing my eyes.

A bird chirped to her tears.

I grabbed my cloak out of my bag, slipping it on over my dress to keep myself warm in the tree. The sun had started to set, and the temperature was getting a little colder.

Hours went by and nothing happened. By then the night was cold and the wind whistled through the trees.
