The vampire and the human(reserved)

I walked him back to the truck, frowning. I needed to get him out of there.

I looked up at her trembling. I tried to say something but the words would come out so I ended up pointing. There was a gash on my leg where a vampire had slashed me wjth its claw. The armor protected most of if but there was still a gash visible on my leg and I trembled harder. It hurt

"You will be fine. I'll treat it once we get on the truck. You won't die from it. It's not deep enough to do damage." I reassured him, soon getting him back inside the truck. I removed his armor from his leg and got the medical kit that was kept in the truck. I disinfected it and wrapped it up.

I just stared at her for a second like I was lost. Then I looked out the window trembling

Once I got it wrapped up I hugged him to me gently, frowning.

I snuggles into her my stare never leaving the window. Slowly it faded away and I sat up stretching "want to get food when we get back. I'm starving" I said faintly

"I'm not too hungry, but i will go with you." I said softly, helping him sit up.

"You sure your not hungry?" I asked and tilted my head giving her access to my neck

I shook my head. "I'm not hungry."

I nodded slowly pulling my shirt up to cover my neck dissapointed. I looked back out the window as we headed back to base

Once in the base, I helped him out of the truck. I knew he'd have trouble walking on his leg for a while. I had him tell me the directions for the cafeteria. I forced myself to stay calm as I walked in. Humans were all around me. They had to understand I was helping him.

People saw what was going on and nodded at the vampire in thanks. One person actually thanked her for helping me. I was led to the infirmary and placed on a bed. When I laid down I stared at the ceiling not meeting her eyes

I left to go get him food, knowing he was hungry. I shakily got him two cheese burgers and a large fry, quickly heading back. I know they thanked me, but I was still nervous. I brought back his food.

I laid there just staring at the ceiling. I didn't say a word to the nurses or doctors. Didn't make a sound as they pealed away the armor shard from my leg. Didn't say anything when she brought me food. Just stared at the ceiling. She had killed almost all the vampires. I was weak. Way weaker then her. Weaker then most operatives. A ruitine operation and I had gotten injured. I stared at the ceiling contemplating if this life was for me

I frowned, sitting him up. I gently shook him, frowning more. "Hey." I said sternly, trying to get his attention.

I sat up slowly and looked at her "hey" I said back softly

I frowned, looking down at him. "You are upset..."

"I'm ok" I lied moving a little closer to her

"No you aren't." I frowned, sitting him up.

"I was horrible out there. I got injured. I would have been dead if it wasn't for you. Some elite soldier I am. I'm weak. I'm nothing"

"You were by yourself." I said softly. "They were a deadly gang that I used to be a part of. That's why I knew their weaknesses. Any other human would have died. You lived."

I hugged her tight to me pressing into her

I rubbed his back lightly, frowning.

"T tell me how much you like my beauty" I said softly holding her closer

"I want your beauty all to myself. The scar has not tainted you, it adds so much more to your beauty..." I spoke softly to him, holding him close.
